My problem is disconnecting my BlueAnt Bluetooth from my blackberry 9330 and connecting the Bluetooth to my blackberry 9350 However, I can't connect it to my 9350 which is my new phone because of the data that has been programmed into it from the 9330.

View 4 Replies View RelatedBeen having an issue over the past several weeks with my Torch 980. It's currently running OS6.0 bundle 2647.
About every 3-4 times I use a Bluetooth device and disconnect it from the phone (usually by switching the device off) I am finding that the Torch will not disconnect from the device itself. The blue light continues to pulse, and if I look in the Bluetooth settings, it will still show that it's connected to the device. If I try to then disconnect the device in the Torch's setup, it is unable to complete the disconnection. The Torch is then not able to connect to any other device and the battery drains much quicker I suppose because it's using the bluetooth radio.
I've got 3 main Bluetooth devices I use with the Torch -- a Jabra headset, a RocketFish headset for cycling and a Belkin unit for handsfree in my car. This same behaviour happens with all three devices. It's random in that I can't reliably reproduce it -- generally happens every 3rd to 4th time I use a bluetooth device.
Only way to get it running normally again is to physically pull the battery. Even if I turn the device off and back on again, the blue light continues to blink and it still shows its connected to the device.
Bluetooth will only stay on when I'm in the Bluetooth on/off menu. As soon as I go back to the General menu it disconnects and the icon disappears from top right on the screen. The menu says it's on, but there's no icon and no connection.

View -1 Replies View RelatedFor the last 2 weeks, I've been receiving a call from a "private number." The calls come at either 10 or 11 AM and also at 2 or 3 PM like its happening on the hour. They are disconnected from the other end after 3 seconds...there is no one on the line, nothing computerized, no static, nothing. Anyone else having these issues? I have the latest VZW software fwiw.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to ANNA, my phone does not disconnect from my cars built in hands free kit. It worked without issue before the update. The phone does not close the connection. The only way to close the connection is to restart the phone, as the bluetooth connection hangs if I try and do it from the connection tab. I have done a hard reset on my phone with no success. I have also tried all the other deleting the connection and re-pairing suggestions out there, with no successful result.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust got the Elite Flip Thursday night (it's now Saturday morning), paired it with Moto Droid Razr Maxx (OTA .181), and yes, I am using the latest MotoSpeak. I noticed that every time I used the EF for a telephone call, once the call was disconnected, usually but not exclusively by the other party hanging up, the Elite Flip would disconnect from the phone and then reconnect. Is this normal? Is there a way to keep the Elite Flip from doing this?

I have a Tour running 5.0 and have never had an issue with any Bluetooth headset except the BlueAnt Z9i. My BlueAnt Z9i does seem to work fine on 4.7, but I'll chuck the Z9i in the can before I stick w/4.7 for any longer than testing purposes! Tried it with two different headsets, and those headsets on a different devices, so I am sure it is the receptacle.
I was wondering if it were possible, and hopefully free, to use my mac's isight and speakers as a bluetooth audio 'headset' for my iphone... in a similar way that I use my car's stereo as a speakerphone....

Not for the car, as that is bluetooth built in.I wear glasses most of the time.Is in-ear best, or do they slip out, and does it feel like having a finger stuck in your ear?Or is over-ear better, holding it there better, but then does that get in the way of the glasses 'hook'?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've run across an issue, not sure if it's since this last Sprint M8 update (3.31.654.2), or if it started a day or two prior, but using my Blueant Q3 Bluetooth headset, the phone's mic only works, not the headset mic. I couldn't figure out why when walking around the room people where saying I was getting very quiet. I re-paired the unit tried a couple of other ones and tested using a voice recording app, to discover the phones mic is only working.... Tested using the wired HK ear bud set that came with it and it uses the wired headset mic.

I swapped it out with Verizon already and same issue. Been working with Jawbone with several units sent and even another model. Try a Samsung phone and it works great. Verizon says there is nothing else they can do at this point. They get HTC tech support on the phone and the end result was a clear "keep buying headsets until you find one that works". Really?

I cannot pair it with any bluetooth headset, specifically it doesn't detect any bluetooth headset (I've tried with 3 different models). I'm sure Bluetooth is working 'cause I can connect the device to my PC. I've already tried everything, I've set in pairing mode both the headsets and the device but still nothing. I've tried "listen" mode and "search" mode yet nothing work.
This might seem like a minor issue for someone, but I'm often driving while speaking on the phone, can't do without this option.

I just got a Blueant V1 bluetooth headset and everytime the milestone sleeps [screen auto goes off] my bluetooth will disconnect shortly after that. If I keep the screen on the connection seems fine. I don't see a setting that causes bluetooth to go off when on sleep like WIFI does so what's the problem here and how can I fix it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use a Bluetooth headset to listen to music that I have on the SD card but would also appreciate the option of listening to the radio on occasion. The problem is that the radio will only work once the wired headset is connected, as the cable is used as an aerial. Is there any way in which I can overcome this problem. I have tried plugging the wired heaset in so that the radio works through that, but then there is no sound through the Bluetooth headset. For the record, I have experienced an irritating problem since having upgraded to 2.3. I downloaded a few skins off the HTC Hub after which the downloading notification arrows on the top information bar as well as the download information on the information sheet could not be removed. I tried many options, to the extent of even deleting the apps concerned, but the notifications remained. The only way that I was able to clear them was to perform a full factory reset causing much information to be lost. I wonder how many others have experienced the same problem. Other than this the upgrade did improve a number of functions.
