Jul 30, 2012My blackberry scroller wont click or scroll! I have phoned blackberry and they want to restart it so I wanna see if there is anything I can to fix it to prevent them doing that!
I tried taking out the battery and clicking five times, it works but it broke again then that didnt work again! I also tried putting a piece of tissue between the sim card and the battery and it work but again when is stoped it wouldn't work again!
I have taken to battery in and out soooooo many times and I left the battery and the sim card out for the whole night and part of the day!

Dec 29, 2011For the past few months, my scroller has been sticking and freezing, but i have managed to fix it everytime by pressing down hard or doing a battery pull. Also, the screen would just randomly turn white and then the phone would restart. The white screening was getting unbearable, so i did a software reload through desktop manager and since my scroller won't work at all. It wont select or scroll.

Nov 22, 2012I have had a Blackberry Curve 9630 for just over a year now, and all of a sudden the square scroller/button has stopped selecting and when I try to scroll it doesn't move around as easily as it had done. Now my Blackberry keeps restarting itself and when it get to my background it doesn't let me scroll/select anything, it just reboots itself again. I have left the battery out for around 5 minuets and then put it back it yet the problem is still occurring. my problem is that I cannot get onto my phone because I cannot type in my password it comes up with unlock emergency call and cancel and I cannot chose any how ever when I take the sim out and put the battery back in it takes me straight to unlock and I cannot type anything but the blinker is solid is don't blink could this be the problem?

Oct 24, 2012I purchased two blackberry 9320s within this month and the first week, all was good and the phone worked brilliantly. Now, this phone freezes at least 10 times a day, irrespective of whether I am just playing a game on the phone or accessing something. It is becoming a real pain...had it been just the one phone, I would have said that it was something on the phone but this is happening on both the phones at random times. Is there some software that could resolve this? Is it the phone itself that is the problem? I am not happy with this. The fact that it is less than a month old says something. I will press buttons the scroll button and nothing happens, then a minute later or so, it will sort of wake up and start responding again.The email, Facebook, and internet has always been extemely slow, but I think this is because I have only one bar of service most of the time.
The freezing thing happens in a variety of places - when I'm checking emails, trying to open icons from the home page, want to make a call, or most annoyingly, when I need to adjust the volume. Basically, it is having about a 30 second delay on waking up all the time, even when currently in use.

Aug 25, 2012My BlackBerry 9300 curve is (usually) freezing after the booting progress bar has reached the end. Occasionally, I can get it to connect to my Desktop Software. And very occasionally, after trying to connect, it goes into some unrecognisable text version of its screen. I'm able to scroll about on this and try various things, but I keep getting Java errors. After a number of these I got a message saying "AppError 601" and the phone rebooted. Hasn't shown particular signs of life yet (back to freezing at the end of its boot progress).
I did manage successfully to use the resettofactory command from the MacOS terminal to get it to wipe. However, from the text-only screen, and judging by the documentation as well, it doesn't remove apps. And I'm guessing this is app-related.I've tried booting it in safe mode, which left me with a frozen screen with text in the background and a rectangular logo screen in the foreground (there's also a screenshot in the attachments).Even if none of this rings a bell with any of you, do any of you know how to delete the apps from the command line?
