I have stopped receiving emails from my ymail account on my BB Curve and am unable to access 'email accounts' in Set up. When I click on the icon I get a message saying 'your device had a problem connecting to the server'.

Now I am unable to access my e-mail accounts on my Blackberry BECAUSE, when I change my password, Blackberry says they will send the new password to my phone - and of course I cannot access the e-mail accounts or the new password there. I need the answer and new passwords to be sent to my e-mail accounts, so they will show up on my computer!

View 6 Replies View RelatedI had my company email account on my Curve 9330 and it would not let me validate my account. So I deleted that account and tried to recreate it. I go to Settings>Email Accounts, but when I try to click on Internet Email Account to create it nothing happens. I can open Enterprise Account fine, but not Internet email accounts. I have two other accounts setup under that, but it will not let me access those either. BTW I am running 6.0.0.431.

When trying to add them back by going into SETUP and then clicking on EMAIL ACCOUNTS nothing happens, no errors. It just sits there. I've wiped the device earlier today and still nothing happens when I click on the Email Accounts icon.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been ytrying while more than two weeks to enter my Email Accounts Manager on my BB 9700 as we usually do that is with my email adress (as user) and keyword with which I sign up on my BB ID account, but I always get the error that says that my user or my keyword is not valid and I'VE ALREADY CHECKED AND CONFIRMED THIS INFO but i still get the same error and I can't add new email accounts!!!!

View 8 Replies View RelatedReceived a meesage from Blackberry saying my gmail could no longer be delivered. I was instructed to enter setup and re-enter my password.
But clicking on mail within setup brings no setup options ...unlike the other like Blackberry Messenger or instant messaging. Once I have clicked on mail settings I find that I cannot exit setup at all (no problem if I select anything other than mail) and must turn off the deivice to restore capability.
This has probably occurred after an OS upgrade ? ..running 6.0 bundle 2534.. though until the Blackberry message I hadn't noticed a problem.
Is there a fix or is there the abilty to backout the upgrade ?
I got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 for Christmas and it won't allow me to set up personal emails, I only have the BlackBerry Enterprise option. I have gone to advanced options and gone to HRT and have sent away for registration as suggested on another page, but I have received no confirmation the message was sent, and I am still unable to access email. Also I cannot down load BlackBerry APS or Facebook. I am an 02 ready to go customer..

The same email accounts that were setup in my BB Curve.Having done this, I received a mail on my BB stating that I cannot receive emails from the accounts I changed my password on until I update the email setitings on my BB.So I go to SETUP, click EMAIL ACCOUNTS and I was asked, "Are you ready for your device updates?". I click YES and I was brought to a browser with a link "DOWNLOAD MAIL SETUP" which I clicked. And then the phone hangs.I restarted but now I cannot seem to access the "EMAIL ACCOUNTS" link on the setup folder so I can update my password. When I click, nothing happens.

I phoned my service provider and according to them everything is in order on there system. They have tried to resend my email service books but i don't recieve it. View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my BB Bold 9900 just after Christmas and had no problems in setting up my email accounts onto my device (hotmail & sky) however upon downloading the Olympics app it appears too of deleted these. I have gone to my setup and clicked on email accounts but its just not working. It clicks but doesnt act on the click (i can click like 20 times and nothing happens) and the screen remains the same like I havent clicked on anything. I can click on other options as BBM and it goes staright to my BBM chat so no problems with the button except for it doesnt act upon the email account.
I am with T Mobile who have been most unhelpful with this, I have done software updates and still this is not working
I keep receiving the message when attempting to set up my AOL account that it somehow was registered to another account (it was not) and I need to transfer the data over to my number. I do that and it says accepted but nothing appears and it is not transferred. What can I do to get my AOL account registered?

View 7 Replies View RelatedToday I got a new handset and after restoring all my backup and carrying out an enterprise activation on my work Lotus Notes email account I tried to reactivate my hotmail and gmail accounts on the phone.
When I tried (try) to set up these accounts the following happens:
1. I go to the E-mail settings icon on the device.
2. The following message is what I am shown on the screen:
"A new BlackBerry device has been detected. You must move your e-mails accounts to recieve e-mail on this device. To move an e-mail account, you will need to type the e-mail account password. At least one e-mail account must be moved to set up e-mail on this device." (This is the message displayed)

View 9 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.
I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons:
Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
When I go to activate my emails (4) and hit the Verify button. It loads to a new screen and says "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again." I have done that about 10 times and isn't working.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi am having problems with my bionic adding accounts under the my accounts settings area. every time i try to add my picasa, facebook, Internet, or twitter it says 'an error has occurred please try again later'. when trying to add an email account it says auto setup is not available for the provider (tried with my gmail, yahoo, hotmail, & verizon accounts). i got around that by finding the manual values to fill in for each provider account, but that's just email. i am pretty miffed on the others not working.
mostly because i would like to have picasa in my gallery and be able to share photos from gallery or after taking with camera app to picasa and/or facebook. i do not want to have the facebook for android app on my phone, so just having the account set up in blur would be sufficient. i have tried taking my timezone off the automatic setting and retrying to add picasa account, still no joy. still in my 14 day trial with the bionic and am certainly being swayed by this issue
So my black berry has worked fine with one email account for about a year, but for about 2 months i've been trying to add two new email accounts. they're both gmail. so i tried the gmail app and it says " this site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you b your service provider." I did that and copy and pasted the link into the browser and it said the exact same thing. I then went to the settings> manage internet email and it says " We apologize, there was an error trying to access the service. Try again" The try again was a highlighted as a hyper link. When i clicked on that it took me to the Web2go website. the Browser, internet, and other apps seem to work fine. just not this?
