For some reason my 9300 will not let me going into the e-mail accounts option in set-up! I need to validate my password as it has been changed on my email server. It's work up until now! any ideas guys? I've tried re-boot and making sure the software is up to date but failed.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI had my company email account on my Curve 9330 and it would not let me validate my account. So I deleted that account and tried to recreate it. I go to Settings>Email Accounts, but when I try to click on Internet Email Account to create it nothing happens. I can open Enterprise Account fine, but not Internet email accounts. I have two other accounts setup under that, but it will not let me access those either. BTW I am running 6.0.0.431.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been receiving absolutly no help from my local SPRINT representatives and I am about ready to throw my blackberry out the window.I received a replacement phone for my blackberry that has a missing part and I was able to sycronize all things from the old blackberry 8330 onto the new blackberry 8530.problem is that I am not getting my emails now! When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.
View 5 Replies View Relatediv had my bold for a year and from i first set phone up i have not been able to go in to my email account set up menu. it does not do anything when i try and select it. its never been a problem as i only have one email address and never needed to add or edit account but know i am not receiving emails as i need to validate enail address with blackberry and cannot do this through my phone. iv tried restarts and registerng with wireless netork but nothing it works. i just cant click on the account icon .
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been ytrying while more than two weeks to enter my Email Accounts Manager on my BB 9700 as we usually do that is with my email adress (as user) and keyword with which I sign up on my BB ID account, but I always get the error that says that my user or my keyword is not valid and I'VE ALREADY CHECKED AND CONFIRMED THIS INFO but i still get the same error and I can't add new email accounts!!!!

Now I am unable to access my e-mail accounts on my Blackberry BECAUSE, when I change my password, Blackberry says they will send the new password to my phone - and of course I cannot access the e-mail accounts or the new password there. I need the answer and new passwords to be sent to my e-mail accounts, so they will show up on my computer!

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
So my black berry has worked fine with one email account for about a year, but for about 2 months i've been trying to add two new email accounts. they're both gmail. so i tried the gmail app and it says " this site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you b your service provider." I did that and copy and pasted the link into the browser and it said the exact same thing. I then went to the settings> manage internet email and it says " We apologize, there was an error trying to access the service. Try again" The try again was a highlighted as a hyper link. When i clicked on that it took me to the Web2go website. the Browser, internet, and other apps seem to work fine. just not this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday I changed the passwords for my email accounts believeing them to be compromised.
My Blackberry then sent me messages to say it could no longer access those email accounts as you would expect. I tried to update the passwords on the BB but it continued to tell me the passwords were incorrect. I tried changing the email accounts to different passwords and tried to update the BB again. Still said passwords are invalid. Tried deleting the email accounts, rebooting and adding again. This time I receive an error which says "Blank password. Type a valid password" even though the field is not empty.
At a loss as to what to do now except create brand new email addresses or buy an iPhone.
I cannot edit my email accounts on the curve, I go into setup click on email accounts, highlight internet email account and click, and I am taken back to set up. This has been going on for a while someone from Rim looked at my bb and was shocked and claimed to put in a request for fix, but now 4 weeks later still nothing, and I need to remove one account and add two others.

Having completed this I click on next but instead if getting a finish icon the software goes back to the page for adding a new account. If I then click on set up a new email account the screen goes blank apart from the word 'login' at top of page. I have managed to set up one email account, but this did not need the additional settings.Phone is curve 8900.On a related matter, is there way of temporarily suspending the email on phone with out actually deleting the account.

Last night I changed my password for my email account on my PC and now cannot access it on my Blackberry. I tried to change my password on my BB but a message keeps coming up "invalid email address or password" I even tried deleting my googlemail account from my BB and then tried to re-create it but I'm still denied access. BB keeps telling me if the problem persists, then I should contact googlemail.com, but I'm not having a problem accessing my account on my PC.

When trying to add them back by going into SETUP and then clicking on EMAIL ACCOUNTS nothing happens, no errors. It just sits there. I have changed the password using my computer and my phone (options, device, blackberry id). I can log into my account on the Blackberry website using the updated password but when I try to activate the email account with the password it says incorrect. I have checked the box to show the password so I know that the password has been entered correctly. I've tried about 5 times.

My existing email accounts were initially copied from a previos Blackberry (Bold 9000), but when I attempt to add an additional one, the only option I get is "Create a new email address' (the Blackberry one).
My service provider confirms to me that this is not due to them.The problem was there with OS7.0 and remains with 7.1.
I have an enterprise email account through my work. I recently added my personal account to my phone via the setup wizard. Everything works great but I was wondering if I can setup my "messages" folder so it only displays my work account? Also, I accidentally sent a few emails for work with my personal account and wanted to make sure that my work account was the "Default" email.

I took Brand new 3g curve on 6th July 2011 with vodafone network and I am facing 2 problems. First when I go to setup wizard for email set up it shows only one option i.e. Want to use a work email account and not showing the other option. I am using Vodafone plan of 399 which covers all BB services second is when I go to main menu I am not able to find out blackberry application world icon any where and when I am downloading it, saying your device already have blackberry application wan replace it I say yes and again there is error.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recieved my Curve 8520 6 days ago and I am still waiting on my service provider contacting me about the Blackberry Tariff HOWEVER when setting up my phone using the Wizard Setup I did not have two options for the email setup, only Enterprise Email Activation...I have never had one, this is my first Blackberry. How do I apply the other option of Add An Email Address? Or does this mean that the phone has been used by someone else (even though it was bought from my service provider "brand new"), or a fault has arisen? What can be done?
