I am using Black Berry curve 9380. For last one week I am unable to open my email accounts in my phone. I can recieve the mails but not read and send mails through my phone. The error message which is being promted each time is : "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutofBoundsException"

I been having trouble trying to get my email account password.I have a new phone and even if I try to reset or find my password the account can't set up on the phone.I came on the PC and first sent the reset to my old phone then realized I didn't have it with me, then I sent it to my new phone but it's not set up, then finally I set it to my friends phone hoping I would get the link but this still hasn't arrived considering it was last night I sent all three.Where do I go from here how would I set up my account otherwise as I don't want to make a new account.

View 9 Replies View RelatedReceived a meesage from Blackberry saying my gmail could no longer be delivered. I was instructed to enter setup and re-enter my password.
But clicking on mail within setup brings no setup options ...unlike the other like Blackberry Messenger or instant messaging. Once I have clicked on mail settings I find that I cannot exit setup at all (no problem if I select anything other than mail) and must turn off the deivice to restore capability.
This has probably occurred after an OS upgrade ? ..running 6.0 bundle 2534.. though until the Blackberry message I hadn't noticed a problem.
Is there a fix or is there the abilty to backout the upgrade ?
I got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 for Christmas and it won't allow me to set up personal emails, I only have the BlackBerry Enterprise option. I have gone to advanced options and gone to HRT and have sent away for registration as suggested on another page, but I have received no confirmation the message was sent, and I am still unable to access email. Also I cannot down load BlackBerry APS or Facebook. I am an 02 ready to go customer..

The same email accounts that were setup in my BB Curve.Having done this, I received a mail on my BB stating that I cannot receive emails from the accounts I changed my password on until I update the email setitings on my BB.So I go to SETUP, click EMAIL ACCOUNTS and I was asked, "Are you ready for your device updates?". I click YES and I was brought to a browser with a link "DOWNLOAD MAIL SETUP" which I clicked. And then the phone hangs.I restarted but now I cannot seem to access the "EMAIL ACCOUNTS" link on the setup folder so I can update my password. When I click, nothing happens.

I phoned my service provider and according to them everything is in order on there system. They have tried to resend my email service books but i don't recieve it. Data service etc is working fine and my phone register on the blackberry network. Please assist as i am unable to setup my emails etc or connect to messenger etc....

I checked my voice mail, but the symbol did not go away. Since then I have not received any text messages. The text messages I send are getting through, but the ones other people send me aren't. Thinking my inbox might be full, I deleted a few conversations, to no effect. My phone is basically new and I haven't made any adjustments to it. I've drawn a picture to show what i mean: don't know if the voice mail and text messaging issues are related. I've just upgraded to OS 5 and according to the screen icons I have 2 unread email messages.This is not correct but I have an email account where I had messages on the device prior to update but now I can't delete them and I think the two problems are connected.The email seems to be working OK otherwise - just can't get rid of these old messages!

Just recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... I havent had a problem replying to messages after people have texted me, its iniating the converstation thats not working.

Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. Once I start typing their name, it should start to automatically come up. When I try to do this on the phone, it won't do it. Do I really have to enter someone's phone number in order to do this? What if I want to add more than one person which is not an easy task either. I found where people are being told to download an app called Handcent SMS which will resolve the multiple people issue but what about accessing my contacts just by starting to type their name in the "To" line?

View 5 Replies View RelatedToday my nokia e63 ran out of battery charge and as I was in town there was no way I could charge it. As I got home put my phone on charge and turned it back on, after a few minutes I decided I would send a text until I realized my phone would not let me do so. I had full signal and have tried to send a text in multiple areas around the house where I have signal. My girlfriend is on the same network as me and is having no problems at all. This all happened after my phone ran out of charge, is this a known issue? Does anybody know what might be going wrong with it?
