Ideed, i have a message like that : "message memory full" i delete a lot of messages, i don't have any video or pictures, my memory is not full, so i don't understand why it's like that. I have this probleme for 4 days ant it becomes very annoying. delete any message cause i delete three-quarters of messages..

Aug 7, 2011When I click on any email icon and the Text icon nothing happens. Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.

Dec 6, 2010When checking the online tutorial via AT&T's website it walks me through how to send a text message to someone in my contacts list from the text messaging screen. Once I start typing their name, it should start to automatically come up. When I try to do this on the phone, it won't do it. Do I really have to enter someone's phone number in order to do this? What if I want to add more than one person which is not an easy task either. I found where people are being told to download an app called Handcent SMS which will resolve the multiple people issue but what about accessing my contacts just by starting to type their name in the "To" line?

Jun 23, 2011I recently discovered that when I scroll down to look at my old text messages, a lot of them have turned into drafts and when I click into them, all the texts are gone. I have also noticed that there are the occasional text messages amongst the green ones that I can read. I suspect that this has to do with the fact that I have saved those messages in a folder.
My phone is running on OS 6.0.0.448, could this have something to do with it? My phone did not originally come with this OS system as it is a Bold 9700. In my message settings, my messages are set to be kept forever. And my validity period is set to Max. I also use this phone with 2 different numbers and sim cards in different countries. Could this have something to do with it?
BB Bold :: 9900 Date And Time Settings Wrong - No Access For Messages
Jun 1, 2012I woke up this morning (24th December), and my phone had set the date and time to the 29th November, and the time is 6 hours behind (its now 3pm and it is apparently 8:43 on my phone.) Moreover, I can't read my text messages, I can't see text messages that I send, and my blackberry services have stopped working (i.e.. I cannot send emails or access BBM.) I have restarted/rebooted the phone almost a million times, but every time it comes back on the time keeps being set back to 7:49 every single time. I have no idea what to do!

Aug 23, 2011I've recently upgraded to the new Blackberry Bold and all of a sudden my text messages seem to be out of sync.For example if I text Friend A, they text back to which I again reply - both my messages will be at the top... So if you end up having a text conversation with someone, every single one of mine will be in one place and below will be theirs. When you are reading back it is confusing as obviously you didn't text five times with no reply and vice versa all received messages appear to have been "received one minute ago" rather than the usual at 17.50 or whatever...

Dec 29, 2010Bold 9900, have had for a few weeks now, noticed something new when replying to text messages, if someone sends a text to me & others, when I reply it is always to all the people the original text was sent to. My old 9000 had the option come up of reply or reply to all, this new 9900 only shows replu but it replies to all. I have looked everywhere for a setting to change this but have not been able to find anything. how to change this or is it just something new that can't be changed on this new phone?

Apr 17, 2011WIth the update to OS 6.0 (6.0.0.6.00) frmo Sprint, I now have the ability to go beyond the standard 160 characters for a text mesage. It appears that I have up to seven text messages worth of 160 chracters that can be composed and sent. This feature was working fine until last week. Here is what is happening. If I compose a text that is 180 chracters long, only the second part (the last 20 characters) comes thru. The message will say "2/2" and then display the final 20 characters. The first 160 characters never arrive. I have tested sending a message like this to a Sprint user, ATT user and T-mobile user. They all arrived in the same manner, only the last 20 characters.I have spoken to Sprint to no avail.

The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. May 2, 2012I will be traveling abroad with my new iphone 4S and will need to make calls for reservations during my trip. To prevent abroad fees for voice calls, I am planning on leaving the phone on AIRPLANE MODE 'ON' with WIFI 'ON' (along with CELLULAR DATA 'OFF' just in case) and make my calls with Skype when I find a Wifi. If I understand correctly, it's OK so far...?
However if I received a call, I guess it will go in my voice mail? Will I a receive a Voice Message notification...? and how? Could I listen to the message through wifi or must I turn back the cellular service on (AIRPLANE MODE 'OFF'), which I would not want to do...

Aug 21, 2012I purchased 4 BB Bold 9900's in June 2012 for a new small biz venture. None of the phones are retaining text messages and or previous threads past 30 days. i.e. If I scroll to the last text message, it will go back only 30 days....and the end date changes each day, with text messages falling off.
Upon purchase, I made sure to set all to "Keep messages forever". Does anyone have ANY suggestions? Our previous BB's did not have this issue, and these previous text threads are critical for referencing past text message threads and the data exchanged.

Sep 24, 2011I've found that the longer threads in my text messages on my Bold won't let me scroll up through the older texts, I can only see what will fit on the screen. Threads with only a couple of messages don't have the same problem.
