Is there a way to restore this function? The only setting is "Auto" and when trying to check for other modes, a message says this camera does not support those functions. Why? They were supported under OS 5 in the same phone?Also, the camera shots are not nearly as nice as the older 8330.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't get any of the camera modes to download, the status bar will go black for a couple of seconds then a loading box flashes up then disappears. I've tried clearing the camera and galaxy apps caches and rebooting but the problem still persists.

I went back to the Samsung Galaxy App store confirmed the apps were in fact already installed. Something I missed?
Just got my phone and it is completely stock. When using the video camera and switching between slow-motion modes (normal, 120 FPS & 240 FPS) the camera app crashes and I get the error message "Can't connect to the camera".
Then the camera wont work, no matter the app I use, that uses the camera. After a reboot it works again though.
Sometimes it crashes the first time I've changed the mode to 240, sometimes after cycling through the modes a bit, but it always happen and it wont many cycles (1-3). I've recorded functional 240 FPS videos, so that part works.
I've tried starting the phone in safe mode and deleting cache partition, with the same result.
There are others with the same problem, but it doesn't seem to be a common error. Is it a software problem or hardware, and is RMA the only option?
On all my other galaxys before this sprint s6 edge in the camera you was able to go to setting and turn the feature to take pictures from a video and go frame by frame at the same time once you press pause on the video. However, on this phone i do not find that option. I have looked everywhere nothing. Did samsung remove that feature?? Or am i not looking in the right place ?

I've tried a battery pull many times but no change. Also I have checked the card and it is firmly in place and never needs to be pushed in anymore than it is.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to be able to lock my blackberry with a password and I had to be able to just hold down the A key to do this, but after I downloaded the software upgrade to 5.0.0.508 locks the keyboard, not the phone. Also it's darn near impossible to unlock the keyboard with the mute key because I have a case on my phone. I have to pull the case off to get it to unlock.How can I get it back to just the password lock when I hold down the A key? I've tried to go into speed dial keys and update it there, but it won't let me change that one.

Once I start doing a few calculations, the answer (whatever it is), is replaced on the screen by usually whatever the last digit is. Happens in both landscape and portrait modes. Anyone else experiencing this? I hated the stock calculator on my OG Droid, so often used other calculator apps from the Market, but with the Xoom, I actually really liked the stock calculator, and can't seem to find any good ones to replace that look good on the Xoom and work well with Honeycomb

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using a MA 1.6.13 N8. Brightness it at half and screen timeout is set to 30s. Workout screen timeout is off.
Just to make sure we're on the same page: the MA screen has three modes:
- Full on (color and bright) - probably eats up battery quick - out of the 30s configured, the screen remains on this mode for about 25s.
- Dimmed (B&W no backlight) - compromise on battery spend - the last 5s of the 30s are in this mode.
- Standby mode (screen off) - least battery comsumption - after the configured 30s timeout, you can't see anything.
So here is the question: Is this Dimmed screen mode available? I'd like to set this mode on always.

Normally, if you already have the most recent firmware installed on your phone and you try to update, NSU tells you that there is no update available and that you could install the current one again.
If you have a firmware installed which is newer than the most recent one for your ProductCode, NSU tells you that there is no update available but it doesnt give you the option to install "the current one" again.
Ok, as i tried to install 21.0.045 again - and i didn't changed my ProductCode - NSU didn't gave me the option to install the current one again. Nokia has removed Firmware 21.0.045, at least for the ProductCode!
