I keep getting the message "Sorry, your devicde does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World" when I try to download the app directly from the site using wifi. I don't have a data plan yet. I have the Blackberry Bold 9700 v5.0.0.442. Anyone know how to fix this or know what's happening?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to charge my iPhone at night connected to a wall charger. Sometimes I would get an inverted yellow triangle with the message that the device di not support charging, but it would still charge. Now for some reason it gives the message and really won't charge. I have bought a dock to see if it was the wall charger but although the dock works fine when connected by usb to the laptop, I still can't charge when connected to the wall charger. It is an intermittent problem so I don't think it has anything to do with a dirty connector.

Is there a plan to incorporate support for the ANT+ Fitness Equipment Device profile? Seems that this is the only fitness related profile that is missing from the MOTOACTV. I would love to be able to use this device primarily with the Concept2 Indoor Rowing machine (as well as some Spin bikes at the gym). The Concept2 monitor software supports the FE profile and it would be nice to be able to pair the MOTOACTV to track the many meters that I'll be rowing this winter indoors. In addition... just a future thought... the accelerometer would open up the possibility of using this device as a stroke coach for on-water rowing (i.e. stroke cadence)! Nothing wearable exists like this on the market for us rowers...we have to log our workouts manually and don't have a means to retain detailed metrics such as power graph over time etc.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this would be a Motorola or a Google issue, but lately, I've been noticing that the stock calculatory that comes on my Xoom (WiFi) is really acting up. Once I start doing a few calculations, the answer (whatever it is), is replaced on the screen by usually whatever the last digit is. Happens in both landscape and portrait modes. Anyone else experiencing this? I hated the stock calculator on my OG Droid, so often used other calculator apps from the Market, but with the Xoom, I actually really liked the stock calculator, and can't seem to find any good ones to replace that look good on the Xoom and work well with Honeycomb

When I plug in the usb cable I see PC Mode/Windwos Media Sync Mode/USB Mass Storage/Charge Only.The charge only mode is self explainatory. What are the other modes for and which one should be default when using MOTOCast sync or windows media player sync? I'm suspecting if I want to do a straight file copy I'd pick the Mass Storage mode?can I choose a default or will I always have to pick one?
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust got my phone and it is completely stock. When using the video camera and switching between slow-motion modes (normal, 120 FPS & 240 FPS) the camera app crashes and I get the error message "Can't connect to the camera".
Then the camera wont work, no matter the app I use, that uses the camera. After a reboot it works again though.
Sometimes it crashes the first time I've changed the mode to 240, sometimes after cycling through the modes a bit, but it always happen and it wont many cycles (1-3). I've recorded functional 240 FPS videos, so that part works.
I've tried starting the phone in safe mode and deleting cache partition, with the same result.
There are others with the same problem, but it doesn't seem to be a common error. Is it a software problem or hardware, and is RMA the only option?
My blackberry protect on my torch 9800 is not working it keeps showing "the service plan on your blackberry device dose not support this application. Please contact your service provider for additional information or to update your service plan" pls someone should help me out cz I need to restore some contacts that I backed up!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using a MA 1.6.13 N8. Brightness it at half and screen timeout is set to 30s. Workout screen timeout is off.
Just to make sure we're on the same page: the MA screen has three modes:
- Full on (color and bright) - probably eats up battery quick - out of the 30s configured, the screen remains on this mode for about 25s.
- Dimmed (B&W no backlight) - compromise on battery spend - the last 5s of the 30s are in this mode.
- Standby mode (screen off) - least battery comsumption - after the configured 30s timeout, you can't see anything.
So here is the question: Is this Dimmed screen mode available? I'd like to set this mode on always.
I have an E71 a year ago. I bought this phone because of their SIP support. But I just want to sell it and buy an E72 phone. II read too many complaints about this phone because it doesn't bring with native SIP support (some models, I want to buy mine via Amazon). I read in some posts (mainly this post) that the Net Settings brings up a bunch of VoIP servers. I have my own Asterisk server, my E71 works flawlessly with it and I don't need to use another provider such as Fring, Nimbuzz or Gizmo.
Do I need another SIP provider in E72? Or E72 can't just conect to a SIP server just like E71?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to upgrade the Ovi maps on my E75, because navigation has kept me saying that I need to renew the license. I went to Nokia web site and found out that I need to upgrade Ovi maps in order to get the free navigation. I have a 202.12.01 firmware and I installed it once again when I had unsuccessfully tried to upgrade Ovi maps. I have Ovi maps v3.01 09wk44b01 (MW OpenGL LM MN) and Map version 0.1.24.114 (OpenBitLM 6.22.5). I've deleted all old maps and started to download new ones successfully over Nokia Ovi Suite. I've downloaded Nokia Ovi Suite and followed the instructions for downloading and installing the newest version of Ovi maps application (I suppose it must be newer than the one I have on now, because navigation still wants me to buy license, I guess it must be 3.03 or higher). I've tried it several times from the scratch, just to make sure I did it right. Of course I've also chosen the right E75 phone from the drop down menu and I downloaded the file nokia_maps_3.01_09wk44_b01_s60_3.2_lm_rom.sis. I double-clicked it and everything seems to be right, but when action on the phone should be required the installation guide says "Nokia E75 does not support sis files". From the sis file name I can only now see that I have this version already installed.Does this mean I can not use navigation for free on E75?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhat are the requirements to get this feature working? Just tested MfE 3.00.050 witha Nokia E71 phone running latest firmware v400 against MS Exchange 2003 SP2, and jus cannot see HTML formatted mail. Just the unformatted text is shown on the MfE client.
Do I need to do some configuration in OWA or in Exchange mailbox server? Or does this feature work only with MS Exchange 2007 OWA? If HTML message format really is supported in Nokia E71 and MfE 3.0.0050, I guess it should work with the latest phone firmware.
I got the N95 TV out and I was curious if I can use it on the N97 as I can see there is settings for the TV out on the nokia n97 but when I use it don't work, so what's the problem?
