So I've just recently downloaded the new BBM v7.0. But it's asking me to put in the keycode, however I don't know what the keycode is. They told me it's the same keycode as the .100, I'm not enitrly sure what this is.
View 4 RepliesMy blackberry curve 8520 comes on right to the home screen but after the screen goes black & I can't see anything. When I plug in the charger & pull it out that's how I get to see the home screen. It refuses to let me enter my password to get into the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy daughter recently upgraded her Blackberry and gave me her old 8900 after she had transferrred all data to her new phone. She was on a Vodaphone contract.I removed my Pay-as-you-go sim card from my old Motarola and fitted it, everything fine, 8900 up and running. All my contacts appeared but when I go to add or edit a contact , I cannot enter the Add Contact screen, I can open any of the contacts (edit dos'nt work either) but cannot open said Add Contact screen!!
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe phone charges, boots up, Pin is recognized by DM.However, when i turn the phone on, the screen lights up and it prompts me to enter the device password. I am able to scroll up and down through the three options (Unlock, Emergency, Cancel) but i am unable to click down on any of them. Once the screen dies down back to sleep mode it doesn't light up anymore no matter what i press.I've reinstalled the default software 4.6 but that didn't help.
What's wrong and how can i solve it?
When I use my browser to get to Gmail or Blogger, I have to sign in. So, I enter my username and password, but the Enter key doesn't work to load the page up. Nor does it work when I use the tracker to click on "sign in". Nothing happens so I can't access these sites. If I go to another website, for example, Google.com, enter my text and click the Enter key, it loads and shows me my results. Links seem to work on other websites too. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and have a suggestion?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to set up my email account through the wizard set up and have been largely unsuccessful. I read a couple of posts that have given a step-by-step process. My only problem is that I don't have an option that says 'Add account.' Here are the steps I've followed:
1) Go to Email Setup
2) Choose 'I want to create or add an email address.
3) Click next
4)Click next again
5)Then, I get a message which says 'Existing Users, to log in, please provide your username and password.'
I don't have an option to add an account. When I put in my username and password into the fields, I get a message saying please enter a valid username. (My service provider already set up my Gmail, and couldn't add the other one. I told him I'd figure it out)
When I turn on my BB, the numeric keypad is locked (123 sign on upper right activated).I am therefore unable to enter my password which contains letters.How can I unlock the numeric keypad, as all the other keys are inactive?
