Oct 1, 2012I downloaded dropbox onto my blackberry curve and now it just keeps forcing a restart. I seem to be stuck.

Sep 5, 2010I've been using a daily horoscope program with no problem since I first got my phone a few months ago. Today when I went to use it, it told me an update was available, so I choose to accept the update. When it asked if I wanted to reboot/restart the phone now or later, I selected now. The phone proceeded to update the software and now I can't use my phone at all.
I tried connecting my phone to my computer so I could restore it, but desktop manager says it can't communicate with my phone. And when I plug in the power cord, my phone doesn't even register that it's charging up. So, since so much of my life is connected to my phone, and I can't use my phone at all, I'm squirming. Of course, AT&T online tech support is closed Sundays; I guess nobody else has a phone emergency on Sundays. All I get is a white screen that tells me to reload software.
Motorola Atrix 2 :: Downloaded Apps Disappeared After Restart
Oct 27, 2011I have owned the phone for a week and previously owned an Atrix. I have downloaded several apps and after restarting my phone some have disappeared. This was ongoing for several days and different apps. A google search shows this to be an issue with several models of Motorola phones when moving apps to the SD card or Media area. A temporary work around seems to be to keep the apps in the phones memory. Not sure this is a permanent fix because many people and I want to move their large apps to the SD card as the OS was designed.

May 9, 2010I am posting this from my phone, so i hope it all sent ok.Anyway, i am working on hooking my phone up through my car's 3.5mm jack, and i have found the proper 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female adapter, but the trouble is, is that with my experiments so far (i havent bought the cable yet), when it detects that there is a cable plugged in, it tries to use the "headset" "mic" that doesnt exist. So i can hear what the people tell me, but i cant talk to them. So my question is, is when i have a "headset" plugged in, can i force my phone to use the phones microphone instead of the "headset" mic that is nonexistent?

It doesn't happen often, but the camera will occasionally freeze for less than a second and then force the phone into a hard reboot, as if I had pulled the battery out. Mar 2, 2014I did restore to the defaults on my HTC One and after the reset, the photos which I uploaded to Dropbox don't appear at the Dropbox tab in the Gallery of my HTC One. When I click on the Dropbox tab at the Gallery of my phone it appears: "This user has no album to show" the same happens and on Google Drive. Before the reset everything was normal.

Aug 19, 2014I just switched from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a HTC One M8. I have a problem with Dropbox (or my understanding of the way it works on HTC). As I understand it and from my previous experience with Samsung - pictures which are synchronised to Dropbox - are stored in 2 folders:
1) Camera Uploads.
2) Photos
Each directory of which is synchronised and viewable in your phone "Gallery". I previously used the HTC Transfer Tool to move stuff from my old phone to the new HTC.
I will add though I am pretty sure that the "integration" works in this manner. The pictures on Dropbox are not synchronising/showing up in my "Gallery" in the HTC One M8. Not showing up as Albums, Timeline, Events etc.

Dec 28, 2013I've recently manually updated my phone's rom and it wiped off system data in the process.
Now during the first setup screens that you get the first time you start up the phone, I accidentally skipped the dropbox logon bit which would have triggered HTC backup to restore my previous phone settings from dropbox.
After realizing that, I setup my dropbox account but instead of using my existing backup it created a new backup folder.
So now I'm trying to figure out how I can get my phone to restore from my old backup folder on dropbox instead of the new one.
I've tried various ways and if I tamper with the new backup folder HTC refuses to backup from it saying the folder has been modified.

Dec 1, 2015I have a new Lumia 950 with Windows 10 Mobile. I got an email from a friend requesting a specific file. I have it on OneDrive so I clicked the paperclip and selected OneDrive. I quickly found the file, clicked on it and it showed "downloading". I clicked done and went back to my email. The file shows as an attachment and gives the size (36.6 KB). I typed a reply back to my friend and sent the file. He received it with no attachment. I tried it again, same response.The only way I can seem to get this file to him is to open OneDrive, click select, select the file and go through the share sequence to email it. Not really user friendly.Used to be easy in WinPhone 8.

Pokes and other notifications landed straight in my email inbox and if I wanted to post something myself or have a look at other people's statuses, I just went into Applications and clicked the facebook icon. Last week my phone crashed and I had to turn it off and restart it. When I got it back on, there was no sign of facebook, either in my applications or in my email inbox. Instead, something called 100% Games and something called Bubble Bash 2.0 now appear at the end of my menu - I never downloaded these, and I have no idea why they are there.
