who like to auto-upload images to Dropbox or Google+ or wherever ...
When you take a Zoe picture, you'll actually end up with 19 jpgs and one mp4. And those will all upload to Dropbox or Google+ or wherever. So basically my upload folders are a freakin' mess right now.
On my Galaxy S3 and S4, whenever I took a picture, it would immediately upload it to Dropbox using the camera upload feature in Dropbox.
I have the same settings on my Nexus 5, but it only seems to work when I open the Dropbox app. It does not happen automatically after I take a picture. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it still seems to have the same issue.
I have a problem with the browser (small app) when I open Facebook from it, I couldn't reply in any post, and it doesn't allow me to uplode pictures...
Can't seem to find a way to make the camera auto upload to Box or Skydrive or other service other than Dropbox.
Reason is I only have 2 years of 25GB with drop box, but have 50GB forever with Box and 25GB forever with skydrive so would much prefer auto upload to box. How to do this?
I've enabled auto-upload but can't seem to see if this is WiFi only which is what I want. If it uses my phones data-allowence it's going to get used up pretty fast??
So I had to select the option to find photos and videos shot with Nokia Camera. However, after it finished my phone wanted to upload my entire gallery to SkyDrive...again! I don't fancy having a wait a few hours to upload the same images which are already on SkyDrive but there doesn't seem to be an option to cancel the queue. The only option is to cancel each individual image which will take ages. I've tried disabling auto upload to SkyDrive but the photos remain in the queue, even after a reboot.
I have my Skydrive / Onedrive storage settings set up (in Settings/Photos + Camera/Auto upload/Skydrive - turned on, and best quality (needs wifi) set for both photos and videos.
For some reason, videos are not uploading, even when i'm connected to WIFI. Is there a max file size for uploading? If I go into Pocket File Manager, I can copy/paste a video file into my Skydrive folder, but this doesn't seem to be the best way to do this. The files should auto-upload based on the settings Ive selected.
Also - If I delete my low res photos from within pocket file manager (not DNG, the 16mp jpg files), will they delete from my photos app?
I cannot focus when i am taking a picture. When its set on Auto Mode, the image is blurred. The autofocus mechanism doesn't work. Very often, the camera app would freeze and this message would appear "unexpected error, please restart phone". The lens remain open even when i close the cover. It doesn't make the whirring sound when it focuses!
I was always able to upload pics to Facebook on my Electrify with no problems...all of the sudden, everytime I try to upload a pic to FB, I get an error. Says...Upload Error...Upload could not be completed. Is there something that I should reset?
The little upload/download arrow is constantly showing upload. I don't remember it doing this in the past. Also battery life seems very short now. Tried powering down & back up but nothing changes.
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums. 1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I did restore to the defaults on my HTC One and after the reset, the photos which I uploaded to Dropbox don't appear at the Dropbox tab in the Gallery of my HTC One. When I click on the Dropbox tab at the Gallery of my phone it appears: "This user has no album to show" the same happens and on Google Drive. Before the reset everything was normal.
I seen this posted before but no resolve. When I try to stream video from my dropbox account I get an error message... When it comes to streaming video on my HTC one from dropbox or from my phone to my TV via Xbox it's just error messages and it's pissing me off!!
There was an option 'show content' in samsung galaxy S5 gallery setting where dropbox was in option.after check dropbox.there appear an folder in gallery..now in S6 where can i find this setting
How to sync bookmarks to a dropbox folder?I've got this set up with IE for my PC desktops but can't seem to figure this out for Dolphin. Dolphin will sync to google but as far as I can tell this only let's you save to google, there does not seem to be a mechanism to "path" Dolphin out to Dropbox. I'm tired of having two "worlds" for web favorites.
I just switched from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a HTC One M8. I have a problem with Dropbox (or my understanding of the way it works on HTC). As I understand it and from my previous experience with Samsung - pictures which are synchronised to Dropbox - are stored in 2 folders:
1) Camera Uploads. 2) Photos
Each directory of which is synchronised and viewable in your phone "Gallery". I previously used the HTC Transfer Tool to move stuff from my old phone to the new HTC.
I will add though I am pretty sure that the "integration" works in this manner. The pictures on Dropbox are not synchronising/showing up in my "Gallery" in the HTC One M8. Not showing up as Albums, Timeline, Events etc.
I've recently manually updated my phone's rom and it wiped off system data in the process.
Now during the first setup screens that you get the first time you start up the phone, I accidentally skipped the dropbox logon bit which would have triggered HTC backup to restore my previous phone settings from dropbox.
After realizing that, I setup my dropbox account but instead of using my existing backup it created a new backup folder.
So now I'm trying to figure out how I can get my phone to restore from my old backup folder on dropbox instead of the new one.
I've tried various ways and if I tamper with the new backup folder HTC refuses to backup from it saying the folder has been modified.
I have a new Lumia 950 with Windows 10 Mobile. I got an email from a friend requesting a specific file. I have it on OneDrive so I clicked the paperclip and selected OneDrive. I quickly found the file, clicked on it and it showed "downloading". I clicked done and went back to my email. The file shows as an attachment and gives the size (36.6 KB). I typed a reply back to my friend and sent the file. He received it with no attachment. I tried it again, same response. The only way I can seem to get this file to him is to open OneDrive, click select, select the file and go through the share sequence to email it. Not really user friendly.Used to be easy in WinPhone 8.
As long as I can remember, my photos have been syncing to Dropbox as soon as I take them on my Nexus. I'm not sure how this started, but at first I thought it would be useful. However, now I'd like to stop it as I'm fed up with having multiple copies everywhere. But I don't know how to stop it.
On my laptop, Dropbox saves files locally to c:/dropbox but I can't find a similar location on my Xoom's file manager.I can ask the Dropbox people but I suspect they will tell me to ask in a forum where the file management system of my device is known.
I just bought a 1Phone 6 and it seems I have to enter the Apple ID in order to see photos on Dropbox? Can just one ID be for the phone like my iPad is set up?
I installed and app called Dropbox, and it said it was installed, but the screen was frozen so I couldn't choose OK or Run, so after about half an hour I pulled the battery. Now it is hung up during the boot, with the progress bar about under the Y in Blackberry.
