BB Curve :: Upload/download Arrow Is Constantly Showing Upload?
Jun 26, 2011
The little upload/download arrow is constantly showing upload. I don't remember it doing this in the past. Also battery life seems very short now. Tried powering down & back up but nothing changes.
I was always able to upload pics to Facebook on my Electrify with no problems...all of the sudden, everytime I try to upload a pic to FB, I get an error. Says...Upload Error...Upload could not be completed. Is there something that I should reset?
I have a BB 9700 Bold. I was testing the data transfer speed of it using an app called "NetWorkSpeed" from the app store. No matter how fast my network connection was, it seemed like the Bold was capped at an average maximum speed of around 250 kbps, both uploads or downloads. This is using either a 3G connection, or my home Wi-Fi. My home Wi-Fi should be able to do 6000 kbps downloads, and 800 kbps uploads; but the Bold never got anywhere near those. Now this is a speed test only done to the device, not to a tethered computer or anything like that. A tethered computer seems to be able to transfer faster through the Bold than the Bold can transfer to itself. Is this a real limitation with the Bold, or is something else going on here?
BTW, I tethered my PC to my Bold, using the Bold as its modem, and I was able to get 1.9 Mbps/330 kbps with it. Not as fast as my home Wi-Fi, but respectable. But much, much faster than the Blackberry can transfer to itself.
when ever I try to upload or download data to the internet I'm asked to 'select connection:'.I'm only presented with 'search for WLAN' It did used to give me the option '3G' i'm sure....Going on the internet and Facebook etc is fine the 3G side is used . I guess this is just a setting but I can not find it.
I make a back-up every time I connect my BB to my laptop. For some reason, after updating an app yesterday, all my pictures and music etc are gone. I tried (multiple times) to upload my latest back-up (from last week, later also earlier version) via desktop software, but it doesn't seem to work. It goes to the process of loading, says it was successful, but when I disconnect my BB is still without pictures. I did a battery pull, switched it off/on a couple of times, but nothing changes. How do I get my files back on my phone?
I can't seem to get the photos off my phone. I enter my password etc. then the program launches and but then nothing happens? Need to get them off my phone.
I'm trying to upload photos from my phone to my Mac and I'm getting asked to enter a password. How do I set up a password or is there one I don't know about?
Up until a couple wk ago I was ale too upload pics from my blackberry too the groups I've joined on facebook,I can upload pics to my facebook wall and too my albums...but I can't upload pics onto my group sites...
I'm trying to upload my contacts from a csv file to my BB. I've googled it and cant find a coherent solution. I've found answers but not ones I could understand/follow.
Have a new 8310. OS is v4.5.0.37 Platform 2.7.0.55I'm in Australia, currently with Telstra but in the process of changing. Unfortunately I can't remember where I found the info, but somewhere on my phone it lists 'maps' & poss. program number or such - not in options or apps. It doesn't let me open it tho. When I go to the website & try to download maps, it tells me it's downloaded successfully, but my computer makes noises as if the USB is being disconnected/reconnected and the phone spends ages with a blank screen & hourglass before going to home screen, then there don't appear to be maps anywhere on it? I don't know how to get the GPS working - do I need maps to make it work? All I seem to be able to do is click 'refresh' in the menu & it comes up as 'scanning for satellites but does nothing else.GPS section says; GPS data source: Device GPS GPS Services: Location ON GPS Location: blank All co-ordinates, nuber of satellites, etc say 0 Location aiding: enabled.
I am having a problem uploading my pictures to facebook via my blackberry. I have had my phone around 4months now and it has always worked fine.About 2days ago a recived an error when trying to upload pictures "Can not connect to server " i get either error 100 or 1502.I have tired doing a battery pull and uninstalling facebook and re-installing it but nothing is working.
I was posting pictures to facebook with no problems and then about a month ago I tried to upload a photo from my BB Curve after loging on to facebook and facebook told me that "your browser does not support photo uploads".
All of a sudden I can not successfully upload BB photos to Facebook. I upgraded and did get some photos uploaded then a few days later I am not able to do so. On the BB it appears to have worked just fine but they do NOT show up at Facebook.
Just purchased Blackberry Curve 8530. I need to xfer the contact list from a Motorola I465 that has a simm card. I need to know what program on my pc I can create a contact list in so I can sync up with my blackberry. I'm trying to avoid putting in over 300 contacts one contact at a time in the blackberry.
I can't upload pictures to facebook anymore, using the Blackberry Browser. It was always working perfectly, until a certain day, I got the error message "Sorry your browser does not support photo uploads. ...", without me even doing anything. Also, when using the browser, I can't view photos from other people anymore, because they're just very small, even when I use the zoom function...
I've been using Whatsapp on the curve 3G for quite sometime. However, I always encounter this problem. Whenever I try sending a picture, after uploading 95% of the picture, I get a message saying 'UPLOAD FAILED'. I'm able to receive pictures though.
I have several pictures that I want to upload to my computer from my blackberry curve 8210. I already dowload blackberry desktop manager v5.0.1 and when I clicked media..this comes up- [IMG] and then when i clicked install this pop out when i clicked launch..this pop out... Note that I do have the cable thingy that plug to the computer and it is plug to the phone.
I've had two Blackberry, but I'm new to the community. I traded my Pearl for the Curve 8330 a couple of days ago. The new message icon is constantly showing up. It started with three, then four, and now six. I have read several forums and have tried pulling my battery several times. I have even deleted my e-mail account and set it up again. I have gone into all my folders to see if there is a message hiding somewhere. I can't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Aside from doing a factory restore and/or calling Verizon does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset the counter? By the way, my carrier is Verizon!
I'm a relatively new Smartphone user and am still getting used to my 8530 Curve. Over the last couple of days whenever I go to do anything on my phone (check facebook, check email, switch to another application, etc) I get this little black clock in the middle of my screen and it's like everything freezes for a few seconds. What is this and what does it mean?
how to upload only 1 pic to FB? Everytime I upload 1 pic from my media card I end up with the entire media card of my pics being there. I tried creating a new folder named FB pics. I put one pic in it and uploaded it. It uploaded all my pics again. I am at my wits end?
