I have several pictures that I want to upload to my computer from my blackberry curve 8210. I already dowload blackberry desktop manager v5.0.1 and when I clicked media..this comes up- [IMG] and then when i clicked install this pop out when i clicked launch..this pop out... Note that I do have the cable thingy that plug to the computer and it is plug to the phone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have set a password on my 8250 which locks and unlocks it. However when I connect to my computer Blackberry desktop asks me to input a password. When I input the password set for the 8250 it will not allow connection to desktop. I have never set a password in 'Desktop' and have even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it but each time I attempt to connect it rejects the link. Any ideas as to where I can get hold of guidance on how to get past this problem as it is preventing me from using the Blackberry fully?
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy wifes 8530 we just did the BB App World upgrade. Now we can't see or find the icon to open and use it. After being on the phone with Verizon for a while they contacted BB and this is what I was told to do.
-Download BB desktop manager on my computer
-Backup all data from the phone
-Do a hard reset which will delete all data from the phone
-Reinstall all data from desktop manager back to phone and then the icon should appear
Curve 8520 just purchased?I have got emails working from my Gmail account but want to upload contacts before I switch my number over from my Nokia E71.Have used CD of Blackberry User Tools as provided but that does not appear to have very much on it and does not provide Desktop Manager so I have tried to upload Desktop Manager from website and it gets close to the end and then says the process was interrupted and that nothing has been installed.do I need to uninstall the Device Manager?Have looked in the longer User Guide but could not see anything of help. Is there a specific resource to go to on the Blacberry website for specific users like me who want to link with a Gmail account?
