BB Curve 8300 :: OS 4.5 / Downloaded Application And Installation Is Stuck
Mar 19, 2010I downloaded CBS Sports Bookmark from Blackberry App World. It continues to say "Installing" but it never finishes. I have tried rebooting my phone but it still does not finish installing. Any ideas on how to fix this problem would greatly be appreciated. I am running Blackberry OS version 4.5

I went to use the camera yesterday and I get a message saying: " Could not start the camera. Close other applications and trying opening the camera again." Jul 7, 2010Am using a Curve 8350 and am unable to place calls through contacts folder. When you click on a contact and press send (the phone number is in the contact with area code), it rings once and says that the call cannot take place and it is an incorrect number. When you hand-dial the same exact phone number and press send, it goes through. Any ideas on how to fix?

Sep 15, 2011I am having problems accessing anything that has been download using Blackberry apps, such as facebook , blackberry apps world, this is only a recent problem after having my phone for a year, I have tried taking the battery out whilst the phone is switched on. When the phone reboots a message comes up as follows " Uncaught exception index 4>=4" I can get onto the internet as I am still receiving e-mails. Also this tends to resolve itself if I am away from my address.

Feb 13, 2010Last night my phone froze. I took the battery out and reset it. I put the batter back in. It turns back on and does the security verifying and then shows the main screen. The issue is that i try to scroll through the applications and it does not respond. I cannot dial numbers or anything. It just stay on the main screen. When I pulled the batter I notice that there is a red line on the white part near the pickups on the battery.

Mar 31, 2010I'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.

Oct 13, 2011I just got a new phone because I lost my old one and I've been trying to restore my bb messenger contacts through the email option which I had done before with other blackberrys and had worked perfectly. This time, when I click on the option to restore it says that they have to send an email to verify that my email account is valid, I click ok and then it says that my email account (which is working perfectly on the phone) is invalid and they were unable to send a verification email and to check if the account is valid and try again later. I have been doing this for two days and nothing has changed.

Oct 16, 2010I only have people I know on my BBM contact and in the past I have chatted to all of them, I tried to start a chat with one of them last night and it is like my track pad wont allow me to select one of my contacts, I did SMS her to see if she could BBM me back which she can, and I can see part of her sent message under her name on the list of my chats/contacts but I was unable to bring up the list of our chat history I have deleted all my chat history with all my contacts now.

The last time I had the case, I had to uninstall and then reinstall again each app. However,this requires internet connection, is time consuming, and all data were lost. Any idea why that, and how else I can make them start again? Yahoo Messenger has been installed and use for long time in my 9300. Somehow, in past 2 weeks, I could not login to Yahoo, Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Messenger.
Everytime lgoin to yahoo web, mail or messenger always giving me Username and password is invalid. But for Pop-up mail with Yahoo still working and fine
Several trial has been done in the device, like:
- Re-install Yahoo Messenger
- Uncheck item"Remeber my ID..."
- Trial with several account
With PC Login:
- Through yahoo website account and delete all web related connection
- Login with PC desktop with all the account not any issue and can login perfectly
Of course, regular ceremony by reset, remove battery has been doing as well

Verify your network connections and try again. (error id:30641). this may sound silly but any ideas as to what i have to do? my network is fine and can use blackberry messenger and the internet and i am also connected to my home wifi?
