Aug 8, 2010When I use my browser to get to Gmail or Blogger, I have to sign in. So, I enter my username and password, but the Enter key doesn't work to load the page up. Nor does it work when I use the tracker to click on "sign in". Nothing happens so I can't access these sites. If I go to another website, for example, Google.com, enter my text and click the Enter key, it loads and shows me my results. Links seem to work on other websites too. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and have a suggestion?

Nov 9, 2012I bought my bb in may. Now since a week ago it sometimes crashes the screen turns green and purple and it fades to white. I have to take out my battery and charge it without. Then when the sign of no battery shows I put it back in. When I reboot my bb without taking out the battery first it gets stuck in the process.
But the BB keeps on crashing, and the amount of crashes increase..

Jun 10, 2011My 8520 has done this since it was new (now 1.5 yrs old), and I'm sick and tired of it. When I get a call or text from someone on my contact list, about half the time it only shows the Number but not the Contact Name. This is very frustrating b/c I obviously don't have all my Contact numbers memorized, and so don't know who is sending me a text or phone call (this is especially annoying while texting!!!)I've talked with my service provider multiple times and they have tried to help, but say it's really an RIM issue and needs to be address by them.

Jul 8, 2010I've been trying to set up my email account through the wizard set up and have been largely unsuccessful. I read a couple of posts that have given a step-by-step process. My only problem is that I don't have an option that says 'Add account.' Here are the steps I've followed:
1) Go to Email Setup
2) Choose 'I want to create or add an email address.
3) Click next
4)Click next again
5)Then, I get a message which says 'Existing Users, to log in, please provide your username and password.'
I don't have an option to add an account. When I put in my username and password into the fields, I get a message saying please enter a valid username. (My service provider already set up my Gmail, and couldn't add the other one. I told him I'd figure it out)
Nokia :: OVI Suite - Crashes Just From Connecting To Web - Frozen On The Screen Where Enter Your PIN
Jan 20, 2010I recently upgraded my Nokia software to OVI 2, or whatever its called. I will admit, it does look a bit better than the previous version, seems a bit nicer to use, and I like the fact that music, syncing and updating, is all now done from the same application.
Its about time I didn't have to have 3 separate applications installed for my one cellphone.
But I am having problems.
1. I use my phone to connect to the web, and within the first few minutes I was notified that OVI 2 has stopped working, and needs to close etc. I mean, I hardly used the app, and it crashes just from connecting to the web!?
2. I did a software update for my E63, and halfway through the update, OVI threw up an error and said the device was disconnected. I was nowhere near the USB cable. Thankfully, the software update must have completed, because the phone restarted, and when I checked my software version it was up to 2.00.21.
3. So, I unplugged the phone, plugged it back in to restore my contacts, etc. which worked fine, except I don't have any contacts. Why did the calender entries restore, but not the contacts? Luckily, I have all my numbers saved on my SIM anyways, so I just copied them from there.
Did I do something wrong during the backup/restore?
4. As I write this now, I thought I'd plug my phone in, and just check if I could do the restore again, but the phone no longer comes up with that selection menu allowing me to select PC Suite. I decided to restart my phone.
It has now frozen on the screen where you enter your PIN.

Oct 10, 2012When in Greek Display language (not in English) and in Contacts, Phone fields, entering of an '0' number, I get displayed a highlighted 'W' instead.This of course can be stressfully corrected via a copy and pasting an '0'char else use my phone in English Display Language.
Did anyone else, in any other than Greek Display Language have that same problem?
My phone is: BB Torch 9860, OS 7.1 bundle 2061 but I had that same issue with 1149 (as bought)
BB Curve 8900 :: Updated To OS / Bb Media Music Player Crashes Phone
Sep 6, 2010Since updating my OS the audio files that i often transfer to my curve will crash the phone except for the very bottom file on the "all songs" menu inside the BB music player. It is the strangest thing, and very problematic. I have loaded random music files on and switched priority and it is always the last file on the list that works and everything else above will cause the crash. To help clarify some info. The music files are from an itunes playlist and they are all spoken word that range from 5-7hrs each and i have from 2-4 of them at a time. BB desktop manager is the method of syncing and the method of updating the OS as well.

Mar 14, 2010The main reason i bought the phone.Was because of a virtually non existent signal on the Orange network.(dropping calls etc).Anyway. To cut a long story short.It will find UMA.But takes an age to lock on.And sometimes when making /receiving calls i get cut off and my router crashes (loses internet connection)!If i go into my wifi settings in my phone (wifi diagnostics). Under UMA it says 'UMA connection failed'.But no 'error' code!!
I have checked my router setings and everything seems ok as it does on my phone.
But this morning i contacted AOL router support and they told me that it will not be the router but an issue with the phone!
While i am typing this.It has just found UMA (after approx 1 hour of trying) but if i make a call or receive one , i will more than likely be cut off.I forgot to mention that i have a 'speedtouch'(thompson) router. And am thinking of asking AOL for a 'Netgear'!Would this help?Although my laptop and xbox 360 run just fine via the speedtouch with no problems whatsoever

Jul 5, 2010got a 8520 a couple of months ago, and after two weeks the phone speaker would break up when making a call, so you could only hear 1 in 3 words someone was saying, and inbetween was silence.T-mobile sent me a new one out next day, but now after 4 months the new one has started doing it.Can make calls fine with ear piece, speakerphone is working for playing music, haven't tried it for calls, and handset speaker works fine for music too, but breaks up when phoning anyoneThe second time it happened was just after okaying an upgrade. Anyone heard of this before?

Apr 9, 2010I have Blackberry 8520. earlier I was using Nokia E 90.I transferred my contacts from Nokia to CSV file and got them coverted to .ipd file using Amber vCard onverter. I restored the .ipd file into my Black berry using Desktop Manager.The software shows 784 contacts and that is same as it was in my E 90.
However when I select contacts in my Blackberry I dont see them. However Desktop manager shows 784 contacts.Please tell how do I see these contacts in my Black berry.

Jul 17, 2011I have a Curve 8520, and have recently developed a problem. When I open contacts to search for an address it freezes. I can escape by hitting menu and switching application to the home page again. Eventually I get an error message telling me I have an "uncaught exception" it tells me that the app is not responding and the process has been terminated.When it first happened I called Orange my provider and they sent me a new handset, I retained the battery and reloaded and then funnily enough new phone started same issue.
