Aug 8, 2010When I use my browser to get to Gmail or Blogger, I have to sign in. So, I enter my username and password, but the Enter key doesn't work to load the page up. Nor does it work when I use the tracker to click on "sign in". Nothing happens so I can't access these sites. If I go to another website, for example, Google.com, enter my text and click the Enter key, it loads and shows me my results. Links seem to work on other websites too. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and have a suggestion?

Feb 20, 2010Hey can anyone help me with setting proxy settings on applications? At university we have a wlan using a proxy server, i set up my access point with proxy settings and port number. Web browsing works fine: when i start web browsing, i am asked to enter my user name and password. But the problem starts when i want to use applications like Vyke Mobile, Chat, E-mail. Somehow there is no connection. I searched the settings of these applications in order to see if there is some place i could enter a proxy/port number, but nothing worked. Any suggestions please, it's driving me crazy !!!!

Nov 27, 2015About six weeks ago I suddenly could no longer access the internet using Firefox or the default Browser on my LG 3. I just kept getting a message which said "The proxy server is refusing connections". I went to my local Sprint store and after two hours of their playing around with my phone, I was told that I could use Chrome - for some reason you did not get the message with Chrome - or I could reset my phone to factory conditions. Not wanting to reset, I have been using Chrome. I last used it on 11-24 and it worked. As of today I cannot get to the internet with anything. Chrome issues the same message now. I am unable to find any Proxy settings. I am running Android 5.0.1, Kernal Version 3.4.0, Build # LRX21Y, Software Version LS990ZVC.

Jul 8, 2010I've been trying to set up my email account through the wizard set up and have been largely unsuccessful. I read a couple of posts that have given a step-by-step process. My only problem is that I don't have an option that says 'Add account.' Here are the steps I've followed:
1) Go to Email Setup
2) Choose 'I want to create or add an email address.
3) Click next
4)Click next again
5)Then, I get a message which says 'Existing Users, to log in, please provide your username and password.'
I don't have an option to add an account. When I put in my username and password into the fields, I get a message saying please enter a valid username. (My service provider already set up my Gmail, and couldn't add the other one. I told him I'd figure it out)

When the browser is used, it prompts for the username and password and then works. However other applications cannot connect to this network as they seemingly lack this feature and the phone does not make this globally available.Nokia Configuration Tool (NCT) 6.3 seems to allow placement of username and password values. When configuration is transferred back to phone, NCT shows successfully configured, but this does not seem to be the case when the settings are used by the phone.

Nov 17, 2011Email Set-up. I recently bought a Curve 8520 blackberry and got it unlocked, I got problems regarding setup-in my email. I should go to set up. Click set up wizard then email setup. And only one is appearing in my device which says: I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server.
The Email Settings : add more account envelope is missing ! I activated my host route table 100% fine, but I cannot set up a personal email, only a enterprise one.

Security Wipe
I have been reading that the security wipe won't get rid of everything. When I go into security wipe, it says if I wipe "Emails, Contacts, etc." you will not be able to send or receive email on the device after you wipe it.
Does that mean on this phone ever again, or just from the email addresses I am wiping?

But I downloaded a few apps which I can use at home when theres wifi but i cannot use the Twitter, Facebook, UberTwitter apps when not at home (No wifi). Does anyone have the same problems? When i try to log in or connect without Wifi, It does not connect. And on Ubertwitter, The app keeps running but it doesnt connect to gprs/wap.
