View 1 RepliesThe past week, my email has stopped coming through to my phone and i cannot connect to the internet. I have full signal and my wifi symbol lights up when i'm in a wifi area but where it once said EDGE it now says GSM.

When I try to send an email It says service blocked and the internet just says unable to connect, Ive checked the connections and it says full connected, Ive also tried different wifi locations wirh no success.

I tried going into email settings but then i get the error message "your device had a problem connecting to the server" and when i try to use my browser i get "unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. if the problem persists please contact your service provider".I've tried taking the battery out, i've tried option > advanced options > host routing table > register now. But nothing has helped.I have a curve 8520 and i'm on tesco mobile, is this my phone not working or is it tesco mobile?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had to recover my gmail account's password in order to get to my emails.The problem is: it is also linked with my BIS account, i want to change my password now aswell on my blackberry device. i tried by doing so by taking it off and setting it up again, but my bis account withkeeps me to change it, there is no common setting in changing the old password on my blackberry device. its a blackberry curve 8520, operating system ver 5.

As of now, I do not have any problems with those but I just can't find the option to set up my internet email. Whenever i go to the set up email option, it automatically shows me an enterprise email activation.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust started having this problem in the last week. My 8330 won't give me any of my new emails unless I "wake it up" by using the internet. The minute I surf somewhere it'll pop up every single email since the last time I used the net. So for example, I go to bed, and the next morning it won't be showing me any of the emails I received overnight (and I get several every night). If I use the internet to go to to a website, they all come through, bam bam bam.
Also, brand new problem. Just now I tried uploading some things to twitpic and they still haven't gone through. I sent two twitpic emails to my account over an hour ago. Both outgoing emails have clocks beside them (not marked delivered). Twitpic worked 10 hours ago... what is going on?
Well here is the scoop I switched from my curve to a samsung instinct for a couple of days to try out the touch screen.It was a friends phone.I didn't like it, it was way to simple I like my apps and stuff on my blackberry.So I called sprint today to switch my phone back to my blackberry.I can get calls make calls, however I cannot access the internet or set up my e mail.I have resent my service books and received nothing.When I go back into my setup wizard and say setup e mail it says your device had a problem connecting to the server.When I got to like facebook it says no connection.I just want to get back on my interenet and e mail.

2) when I try to connect to internet opening the browser, it appers that I should have Wi-Fi connection on. But has my model GPRS/EDGE connection?
I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 which has been working normally for nearly a year now. Yesterday morning I found that most things were not working. I also found icons for 'music sync' and games on there that weren't there before, which I have since removed. I don't know whether this is related in any way.
My twitter app says 'Twitter services are currently unavailable', my facebook app says 'A connection cannot be established to the Facebook server', my browser says 'Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider.' My BBM messages are not sending to others and when I try and send an email, the red X appears and the message status is 'Service blocked'.
I had my company email account on my Curve 9330 and it would not let me validate my account. So I deleted that account and tried to recreate it. I go to Settings>Email Accounts, but when I try to click on Internet Email Account to create it nothing happens. I can open Enterprise Account fine, but not Internet email accounts. I have two other accounts setup under that, but it will not let me access those either. BTW I am running 6.0.0.431.

When I go to manage connections, mobile network is checked off, but Mobile Network Options shows that even though data services are on, my mobile network is listed as 'none." I tried a reset by taking the battery out but that didn't work. I've only had this phone for a few weeks and it worked fine up until yesterday.

View 6 Replies View RelatedNeither Verizon nor Numericable, my provider in France, seem to be able to offer any tech support beyond telling me to pull the battery, toggle connections on and off, etc. I am not a techie by any stretch of the imagination, so I probably won't understand any jargon or acronyms you use in your replies, and will similarly need more detailed instructions on how to access things within my device (e.g., "just go to the host routing table!" won't mean anything to me).
1. I have a Verizon branded Bold 9650. I have unlocked it so that it is able to make/receive phone calls and texts by having Verizon provide me with the MEP code.
2. I have an unlimited data and Blackberry internet plan with Numericable, who contracts their 3G service through Bouygues. I am 100% sure of my plan, but whenever I try to open my browser, it tells me that "Browsing over the cellular network is not included as part of your current service plan. To browse the web you must use Wifi or contact your service provider to change your service plan".
3. I plan to crosspost this on the Blackberry France forums and the Crackberry forums. I hope this isn't bad manners, but I just want to get this resolved as soon as possible.
4. I have browsed other solutions but a lot of them seem to require a Windows computer to connect the Blackberry to. I unfortunately only have a Mac.
5. I've been waiting for over a week for something to change - Numericable at first told me that 'it takes 5 days to register on the network' and then to await a call from tech support that never came.
6. I would ideally like to be able to use this phone whenever I go back to the States in 7 months, so I don't want to mod it in an way that makes it permanently unusable on the Verizon network.
I have just received a new bold 9780 and it is only set up for enterprise email and despite repeated calls tom my handset provider we cant seem to get it to allow me to set up my normanl internet email accounts?

I am on Telus. I upgraded through my Mac to 5.0.0.419. It ran fine and completed.however, while the phone works. I have no email and no internet connection.All my icons are there but will not connect to send. In the setup wizard it will not connect for email set up so I can not even send service books.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI got the new Bold 9900 a couple of weeks ago, and everything was working fine, but then a couple of days ago, everything just seemed to stop working. On BBM, whenever I try to send a message, the little red clock just appears, and I'm not seeing anybody's recent updates. My emails aren't coming through & none of the internet based apps are working. I've tried the hard reboot and reinstalling all the apps but nothing has worked.I've also done the Host Routing Table registration stuff but have not recieved any message. When I click on the service staus option, under the Blackberry Enterprise Service option, it says 'not connected'.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was able to use Internet Mail accounts, before installing BES (by accident) on my BlackBerry Bold 9780 v6.0.After performing a factory reset and wiping my BB, (to get rid of BES), email is not working anymore.When going to Setup --> Email account --> Internet Mail account --> I can not Activate the email accounts (activate button is greyed out), nor can I remove them.
