I want to find the Manage Internet Email icon that is in the setup menu, This icon is no there. I all ready use the function of "show all icon" and still is no there. What i can do? I have blackberry 8900 with ATT carrier, dont have blackberry plan, only have unlimited data plan.
View 2 RepliesI've seen it many times being brightly black and white, and under Manage Connections it shows a Green checked symbol. But most of the time the WiFi icon is grayed out and under Manage Connections it has a white little line instead of the green checked symbol.

FIRST QUESTION: I got an unlocked T-Mobile Pearl 8220 and am running on my company AT&T plan. The phone is great except I can't setup internet mail (Yahoo in my case). My company phone support guys have reloaded the phone software but still no icon and they have given up. I have the AT&T data service plan. The icon is definitely not hidden, it is just not there. I saw some posts about MMS and email not working together, and MMS and all other functions works fine. Is there another way to set up Internet mail without using the phone and the Manage Internet Mail icon?SECOND QUESTION: If I can't get this to work, is there a 3rd party internet mail download that anyone can recommend?
View 8 Replies View Relatedi'm not sure if this is possible, but i have a t-mobile blackberry 8900. i was wondering if it is possible to manage multiple (2 different) gmail accounts, and a yahoo account on it? i know you can have the e-mails forwarded to your phone, but you cannot reply to them when you have them forwarded to you. so if it is possible, how exactly do you do it?

View 9 Replies View Relatedhi. had 8900 for few months on orange uk with data plan. have been using email, internet and windows live and blackberry messenger all fine using either wi fi or mobile now all of a sudden its stop working and i cant use none. when i try to connect to internet i get a msg say this is a wi fi service please ensure your device has a wi fi connection , bb messenger wont send mgs or receive windows live jus says this service is not enabled for this handheld. ive contacted orange but they havnt helped they did say it could be a update of facebook causing problem?. have tried removing battery and restoring removed service books etc nothings fixed. can anyone help plz?

View 5 Replies View Relatedi have just got my bb back from being repaired and when i got it back it was once again locked to another carrier. i have unlocked it with the MEP code which the carrier provided and am now running the phone with an O2 uk sim.Im not sure if the above is relavent but since ive been using the phone this time around none of the internet or data services will work. i have a data plan on my contract (unlimited) but when i try to connect to the internet via the browser i get the following error message 'Error encountered during XML parse: End tag does not match start tag 'head'. ' also when i try to use windows live messenger i get an error message saying service not enabled for this handheld !?

For some weeks now, I have been unable to access the internet via the blackberry browser (I can access via Vodafone WAP and can recieve e-mails via corporate account, but not google mail) and any apps using this browser have also stopped working. You don't need a plan just to connect to the internet, that's what WiFi is for. It just stopped connecting the other day for some reason. The wifi icon does not appear at the top. View 12 Replies View RelatedI recently performed a battery pull to re-establish connection with the local EDGE network, and as expected, all the emails that I received while not in contact with EDGE came flooding in. What also appeared was an icon I've never seen before, an orange envelope with a sort or ribbon encircling it, and it only appears in front of the "Email Messages" icon, not the "Messages" or "SMS and MMS" icons, and is not accompanied by the usual tiny envelope icon with the number next to it that appears on the Home Screen whenever I have new messages. I've emptied out the Email folder, but it's still there.

My sim works in the phone fine but I am unable to set up my email as it says there is one already set up. Im no longer in contact with my colleague and not sure what to do. Is there any way of renewing this? When I go to email setup it doesnt have the option of create new email.
