I go in to Setup > Email Accounts and tap/click on Internet Mail Account, however it does nothing. I have previously used this feature to add/amend email details. It allows me to click on Enterprise Account, but when I click on Internet Mail Account nothing happens. Have rebooted device a couple of times and get the same problem.

I swicht between blackberry bold and new model Torch, and can't setup internet email account.I call my provider, they said that I have to setup troghout internet (?) and send me temporary pass (?).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from bold 9700 to torch 9860. I setup my msn and gmail account on my Blackberry and it worked fine until I activated enterprise email account. Both msn and gmail 's icon dispeared and i don't get emails pushed to my blackberry any more. I already erased both msn and gmail accounts on BB and re-setup, doesn't make a difference. the msn worked fine on my 9700 until i switch.

Lets say if I have a new email i would like to use and would like to delete the old one off my iphone but it has all of my contacts on it, how do i transfer those contacts, notes, and calendars, to the new email account?
keep in mind that if i delete the email acount with the contacts, the contacts will no longer be on my phone as well as the notes. is there a way for me to transfer the contacts from the old email account to the new one so i can remove the old email account? too much spam.

Please ensure your device has an active wifi connection and try again'. Why is this? Also, when i try to update to 5.0 it says I need a data package but it worked on my old phone. And because of this I can't download the app world. The signal goes to SOS a lot as well but I think my house blocks the signal. Currently it says 'gprs' with 2 bars beside it.

I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

During the process of trying to set up my outlook email on my phone I accidentally selected setup "Enterprise Email Account" instead of "set up another email account". Now when I go into the setup options and select email accounts it takes me back to the Enterprise setup automatically. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an app, Activity Classifier, that uses the handset accelerometers to provide information on activities and total exercise. It automates exercise tracking, classifies activities by type and quantifies aerobic intensity. Live data streamed from an Xperia Arc using the app is displayed in a blog. While it is possible to use on the Active it is unfortunately more difficult on the Active than the Arc because the Active accelerometers have a fault that is hard to get around. The problem is that the accelerometers sometimes take quite a while to start sampling when either started or the sampling frequency is changed.Occasionally it can take longer than 90 seconds. The problem can be seen with the app Accelerometer Frequency. Switch between sampling frequencies and notice that sometimes it switches instantly and sometimes it doesn't. To minimise battery consumption Activity Classifier acquires data from the accelerometers for 6 seconds out of every 30. If no other app is using the accelerometers they will start and stop every sampling period. On the Active they frequently don't start and the app detects a faulty accelerometer. The app has an option to keep accelerometers on and if this is selected it will work OK but battery consumption goes up a lot. The Active comes with a pedometer app called Walkmate. I can see from the Accelerometer Frequency app that Walkmate keeps the acclerometers running at 50 Hz and running Walkmate at the same time as Activity Classifier will make Activity Classifier work OK as well. Walkmate seems pretty power efficient and uses less than half the power of the market leading pedometer app Accupedo, run in power balanced mode, but it counts a different number of steps.

View 2 Replies View Relatedyesterday out of the blue the display on my active stopped working. i connected it to the pc and did a reset/reinstalled the firmware but still no display.i can play music using the original headphones and the headset controls and the home/menu/back buttons light up when i press the unlock key but that's about it.oh yes and i think i managed to unlock the screen even though it was totally back as i could could play/pause music and skip tracks using the screen controls (pressing where i guessed the music controls were).
