Today my little brother decided to enter 10 wrong password all at once and it reformatted and when it was done reformatting the terms and condition popped up and it just froze the trackpad wouldn't scroll down or anything and but everything else works.

i have had this curve for less than a month, my boyfriend bought me it for my birthday. last night i was messing about and i downloaded a theme that has an animated background, as soon as i set it as my theme my phone frozen, no buttons work nothing, all except for the theme animation. i tried connecting it to blackberry desktop manager and it knows that the phone is connected it just wont fully connect. what to do about this as i am really upset that it was a birthday present and it isnt working

Have downloaded JL_Cmder as other posts seem to point to this. But unsure how to install stuff after the wipe as the current Destop software does not seem to correspond to the help that is being presented in the forums and on various web sites.

I recently got the pearl flip 8230, and, well, as everyone knows, or maybe no one knows, this is kind of the redheaded step child of the devices, and is no longer seeming to be supported by RIM and the OS updates, as it has not seen the OS 5.0 update that it is said to supposed to have. I am looking at moving carriers and therefore moving phones also. The pearl flip was my first blackberry, and I really do like the Blackberry/RIM devices, but do not want another red headed step child device that will be forgotten within a day of my purchase. So my question is, does anyone see the 8530 still being supported by RIM in the future? Or do you think that the 8530 has run its course and seen it's last real OS update?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have experienced an unusual problem on my HTC One. My device does not get charged at all on switched on condition even if I change cables or any other charging adaptors. It does not show anything even if I connect to the computer via USB cable. But when I switch off the device and plug into the ac power, first it shows bright red led indicator and sign of the battery for 9-10 seconds, then the brightness of led indicator decreases and at the same time it shows battery charging with battery percentage for 6-7 seconds then led indicator and sign of battery goes off completely.
Again after 4 seconds same process happens. It took about 8 hours to charge the battery from 20%-100% on Switched off condition. I did factory reset, battery calibration (I connected charger for 10-15 mins in switched off condition, then I pressed and hold power button, volume up and volume down button for 2-3 mins which repeatedly restarted the handset) as well but the problem is same.
when i minimize my skype app on iphone. my friends find me as online and if they call, i do not receive any call in standby condition.
if i make it active again by tap on skype icon then i can receive calls mainly i need to receive call on skype even it is in standby condition

I have a new iPhone 6 Plus and have been able to get it successfully get to updating to iOS 8.1 but after that, I can never get it to get past the 8.1.1 or the 8.1.2 update terms and conditions. I agree with the first screen and then it has the pop-up second smaller question, I agree to that and then the first screen just stays locked in view. If I touch on the first agree highlighted text again it fades on and off but never changes. Would trying to do the update via iTunes solve this problem or is there something else I can reset on the iPhone 6 Plus itself to not have to do so?Â

So I've gotten brave (or frustrated) enough to update my 4s to 8.1.1 from the initial iOS 8 update. I can only get to the point where it asks me to agree to the terms and conditions. I agree, twice, then everything stops. I have plenty of space to download the update. I tell you, ever since this iOS 8 update, my fondness of Apple products has diminished to the same level of my fondness for PCs.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having major problems with knowing if my iPhone 4 is full memory-wise or not. iTunes says I am over capacity by NINETY.SEVEN GB when I go to the Summary tab of the Device in iTunes. When I go to my iPhone's Settings under Usage, it says I only have 236 MB available on the phone, with Music taking up 12 GB. ? And then I go to Music and it says I have 1,581 songs. 13.76 GB (the capacity for this phone, subtracting data and hardware allowances, according to iTunes) is around 3,000 songs. I am incredibly confused and need to know what to do. What should I restart/restore, etc.

my daughter has the curve 8520 and today when she turned the phone on the status loading bar gets to 3 quarters full and then freezes and cant do nothing....ive tried the battery pull and the soft reset with alt control and delete buttons and still no joy it still does the same so not only do i have a phone that cant now be used i have a moody 13 yr old thats not got her blackberry.

The screen is only on when I put the phone in the charger, but my problem is also that the unlock key at the top is locked, so even when there are lights and energy in the phone I can't unlock it, and therefore I can't use it at all. I've tried pulling the battery out and in again about 3 times. I've tried taking both the battery and the sim card out. I've tried connecting my phone to the computer, which it can, but it didn't help me since the phone is still locked. I've tried resetting it by pressing ALT + CAP + Del. but that doesn't work either.

It required me to reboot the blackberry so I did and now that it has loaded up I get a message saying 'To start using your Blackberry (R) smartphone, you will need to confirm the languages that you use.' and a highlighted button saying 'Continue'. Thing is, I can't press any buttons or scroll through writing or anything. No buttons, though I can use 'alt' and 'caps. There doesn't seem to be a signal either. I take the battery out and put it back in but when the Blackberry loads up again the same screen comes up. I know it has updated because the loading screen is different.
