i updated my 9790 to OS7.1 and since then, it has no setting to switch to 2Gmode. it only shows 3G, and 2G&3G. is this a glitch in the software or is it a OS issue/ on 3G the battery is even worse so i generally just keep it on 2G and switch to 3G if necessary.

It transferred the first few songs but will not transfer anymore. There is no error message. I did not have this issue with my original phone. View 4 Replies View RelatedToday in the office we set up a microsoft exchange and OWA, nothing to big or fancy but we have a server etc. Now I logged into my BIS site, set up my email entering my own details and putting in our OWA details.. The email works fine, but it takes about 15 minutes for the emails to come through to the blackberry.. i thought that this was only with POP3 and if it ran off an exchange it would be near instant?

However, if I open my Yahoo emails on the Blackberry and select 'Compose email' it will automatically send my email from my 'Default email' which is my other email address. I can of course change the 'send from...' setting but I often forget which is annoying when the email has already gone. I have tried all ways to change the 'Default email' setting but I can't find out a way of doing this.

Only way out f this screen is by tapping red 'power' button. 1- Whenever I go to the E-mail setup, it says "Checking For Updates"
2- Directs me to the Browser in order to download the update
3- Once I do the update, my phone just freezes and does not reboot after a long time. And even if it does reboot, the home page does not load I had to reinstall the OS several times and now I can't even set up any E-mail accounts because it just brings me back to the "Update".I need to be able to receive e-mails on my device.
How can I change my setting on my phone from enterprise to personal? It won't let me have a personal email to restore my bbm contacts or anything?

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever I open up visual voicemail to listen to a message, when it starts to play it at the lowest volume setting, I have to keep clicking the volume button up while the message is playing to get it back up. Very annoying. Also, I have a Jawbone Prime and whenever I connect it to the phone and make a phone call, it always defaults to the lowest volume and I have to do the same thing. Is this some type of bug? I can't figure out how to change the default volume for those, I have volume settings for the phone set to remember the last setting, but it always defaults to the lowest volume when I first connect it.. Then remembers that setting until I disconnect it and reconnect it again. Very weird. Can anybody tell me what's going on?

And done some google searching, but I mainly run into enterprise account users posts, etc.. Mine are just MSN, and GMAIL.
I have multiple accounts that all forward to one GMail account. One of them is a @msn account which is setup to forward, but keep copy on server.
Right now I have my main GMail address setup in my blackberry. I also have the GMail App installed, but since email opened with it is not HTML, it's sort of worthless to me.
Anyway, I would like the ability to send to/reply to certain emails using the alternate account, that in all likelihood was sent to one of the alternate accounts.
How to go about adding the MSN account as a "SEND ONLY" account?
And also, how do I add the other GMail accounts that forward to my primary, so that they show up as an option to use to send FROM, but never receive from the account?
My Carrier is Sprint, but I don't think that makes much difference.
If I could get this setup, I would be very happy.
