I am having a problem or issue with composing a SMS text message. When I compose an SMS text message I get another icon and the message appears in my BBM. How can I change this setting?

Supposedly, I can hook the usb cable in my cpu and the BB will work as a modem in places that I don't have a wireless connection??? View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever I open up visual voicemail to listen to a message, when it starts to play it at the lowest volume setting, I have to keep clicking the volume button up while the message is playing to get it back up. Very annoying. Also, I have a Jawbone Prime and whenever I connect it to the phone and make a phone call, it always defaults to the lowest volume and I have to do the same thing. Is this some type of bug? I can't figure out how to change the default volume for those, I have volume settings for the phone set to remember the last setting, but it always defaults to the lowest volume when I first connect it.. Then remembers that setting until I disconnect it and reconnect it again. Very weird. Can anybody tell me what's going on?

Right now when I press key lock, my wallpaper shows for a few seconds, but then it switches to the big clock. How to I get it to stay on my wallpaper and not show the clock? View 5 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
I'm trying to,figure out if it's possible to hide your recent contacts when composing a new text message on the lg v 10...

With bb10, while composing an email i can click attach files it takes me to BB10 file manger which has all my drives integrated - I can choose files from dropbox or skydrive and attach it to an email while replying to an email (remember. I don't have to start with the file manager app to attach files)
I have just used the Email app that came with my Defy to send a message for the first time. The only trouble is that it didn't send. It is sat in the outbox not actually doing anything. what I can do about it to try and get it to send it? I just don't see much in the way of options.
I have looked at the settings for the different email accounts I have and that particular one all the settings for incoming and outgoing servers are correct and just the same as they are in outlook on my computer.
I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am currently on my 2nd X6 after the first one had a fault which made the cursor move by itself when composing a message (I always hold it at the regular portrait angle). It would also do the same with the delete button, sometimes I would press delete once, for example on a spelling error and the X6 would just carry on deleting, wiping out all of my message.So I have a new one and exactly the same is happening! The cursor flys around the screen, usually in the backwards direction, making a 30 second message turn into a 5 minute long nightmare. Im on o2, it is the 16 Gb model. Anyone know why it is doing this? I have taken the screen film off as I though that maybe that was interfering with the touch sensitivity, but it seems to be an internal error. It is infuriating losing a message, especially when I am on the move and can't use 2 hands to wrestle with this HAL-like behaviour The very fact I have had to sign in to this forum sums up how poor Nokia devices are.

I get the sense the phone is trying to do something else at the same time - like find my GPS. I killed and deleted a bunch of apps to see if that would work and it didn't.
