View 5 RepliesBeen a blackberry 10 user for a long time - considering the new lumia 950. One of the key features I'm looking for is the ability to attach multiple files from cloud storage like google/sky drive, drop box etc.
With bb10, while composing an email i can click attach files it takes me to BB10 file manger which has all my drives integrated - I can choose files from dropbox or skydrive and attach it to an email while replying to an email (remember. I don't have to start with the file manager app to attach files)
I have got myself the new bold 9900 and I really like it. However, I am not able to attach FIles and Videos while sending emails; I only get 2 options when I press the attach button while I am compising emails which are pictures and contacts. I also have a friend of mine who gets the attach file option on his emails.
I have tried everything, from rebooting the device, to wiping out the memory, to uninstalling the software completely but my problem remained.
I do get a long list of options while I am sending a text or BBM message.
I am currently using a BB 9700 Bold and unable to attach when sending email a file with size more than 5 Kb.Everytime I try to use a attachment more than 5 Kb, I am getting to following message : Total attachment size exeeds the maximum allowed size.
1. Is there any way to fix that?
2. What is the maximum size of attachment that can be used?
I have a blackberry 8520, it is working fine.. but, strange thing happend though..chronogically its like this..compose an email, write the recipient addresstype the subjectand write whatever messages right.. and so, i would like to attach a file (.doc file)so i press the menu button and choose "attach file"however, the notification poped up saying "The attachment file may be reduced in size."then it just ask me to select pictures from my pictures directory only, and i was unable to browse my .doc file that is located in my documents directory, since there is no "up" option in the menu.

I start to compose, put in the address, move to the body, hit the menu button, select attach file, select a file..... and then I get dumped back out at the inbox and when I open the draft, there is the original e-mail address and a new one too. but no attachment.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHave configured three email accounts on my curve 3g and have been receiving emails and can also send emails from all of them. Can also view attachments such as pdf, xls and doc. The only problem I have is that I cannot attach pdf, xls, or doc files present on my device or media card to any emails. When I go to the attach option in email, only Picture and Contact pop up. Called up service provider (Ideacellular, India) and they told me Blackberry needs to send me attachment services. Called up redington, blackberry support partner in India. After 4 unsuccessful attempts got hold of the supervisor, who told me that " Files cannot be attached to emails on a blackberry". Prevented myself from fainting and told him to check again. He did check again, told me the same thing and has arranged a callback from Blackberry on tuesday. Researched on the internet, found out about blackberry attachment service. Cannot find it on my device. Connected to desktop manager/Applications/ cannot be seen there too! Have downloaded the OS 6 and installed on my comp.
