When I go to attach a picture to a text message, it just opens up the picture (like so I see it fullscreen) and doesn't actually attach. But it's only with pictures I've recently taken for some reason. I can attach older pictures. It's so frustrating omg really losing my patience with it. I've tried taking out the battery and SIM card which didn't work, tried making the picture size smaller, still doesn't work.
View 3 RepliesI got my Pearl 3G about a month ago, but I just noticed that I can't attach anything but Pictures, when I compose an email and try to attach a document there's an error message "The attachment file may be reduced in size" and the folder I can browse only Pictures folder.

When I try to attach and image I don't have the option to select the image....I can only view the image, just like view pictures on the camera, that's it. When go to the picture first through the camera, I don't have a "send" button either.

However, I am not able to attach FIles and Videos while sending emails; I only get 2 options when I press the attach button while I am compising emails which are pictures and contacts. I also have a friend of mine who gets the attach file option on his emails.
I have tried everything, from rebooting the device, to wiping out the memory, to uninstalling the software completely but my problem remained.
I do get a long list of options while I am sending a text or BBM message.
I am currently using a BB 9700 Bold and unable to attach when sending email a file with size more than 5 Kb.Everytime I try to use a attachment more than 5 Kb, I am getting to following message : Total attachment size exeeds the maximum allowed size.
1. Is there any way to fix that?
2. What is the maximum size of attachment that can be used?
Hi there, new blackberry user. I have taken a few pictures with my Bold 9700 and the have shown up in media/pictures/all pictures. Not sure what happened, but now when I take pictures, I can only view them if I explore and go to the pictures folder. How can I go back to viewing all pictures? Any help for a rookie?

View 1 Replies View Related I have an issue where when I go to text someone and I select the thread for the person and hit attach, I select the picture and it won't attach it. It gives me the please wait circle then disappears without actually attaching it. This happens with all forms of attachments.
I talked to HTC support about it, he had me reset app caches, do a complete clear cache, and finally a factory reset which did fix it.
This morning while readjusting my phone from the previous reset, I disabled Verizon messaging app and the problem came back. I re-enabled the app, along with resetting the caches,

I accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.

Can also view attachments such as pdf, xls and doc. The only problem I have is that I cannot attach pdf, xls, or doc files present on my device or media card to any emails.
