Dec 29, 2014I have questions about animated gif file(s) which is send by Android Gmail as attachment My device is non rooted N5 with kitkat (4.4.4); gmail is 5.0.1 (1642443).
1) Unable to open gif attachment as animated file in gmail, I usually use Quickpic to open gif file in my device and in cloud storage because Gallary dose not work. But in gmail i do not have to option to choose the app, the default image viewer in gmail ( may be gallery ?) dose not display the animated effect. So i have to save the file to my phone or to Gdrive to see the animation. Is there a way to view the animation directly in the email without save the file??
.2)Could i send image files in Android gmail as 'In Line' Similar to the 'insert photo' function in desktop gmail instead of 'Attachment', how?

Jul 18, 2010i am one of the idiots using iphoneunlockuk, and recently was offered the os4 upgrade, i logged in and accidentally unlocked an already unlocked 3gs,it now shows attach to itunes screen. The guys from iphoneunlockuk, have said that i must now wait for the os4 unlock to come out as that will be the only way to recover my phone, i have paid for this upgrade but they still have not offered it, but have taken my money, how to get my iphone up and running again, they told me to not try the unlock again as it will turn phone into brick, but to wait for OS4?

Jun 7, 2014 I have an issue where when I go to text someone and I select the thread for the person and hit attach, I select the picture and it won't attach it. It gives me the please wait circle then disappears without actually attaching it. This happens with all forms of attachments.
I talked to HTC support about it, he had me reset app caches, do a complete clear cache, and finally a factory reset which did fix it.
This morning while readjusting my phone from the previous reset, I disabled Verizon messaging app and the problem came back. I re-enabled the app, along with resetting the caches,

Oct 5, 2011When I go to attach a picture to a text message, it just opens up the picture (like so I see it fullscreen) and doesn't actually attach. But it's only with pictures I've recently taken for some reason. I can attach older pictures. It's so frustrating omg really losing my patience with it. I've tried taking out the battery and SIM card which didn't work, tried making the picture size smaller, still doesn't work.

Aug 9, 2011Have configured three email accounts on my curve 3g and have been receiving emails and can also send emails from all of them. Can also view attachments such as pdf, xls and doc. The only problem I have is that I cannot attach pdf, xls, or doc files present on my device or media card to any emails. When I go to the attach option in email, only Picture and Contact pop up. Called up service provider (Ideacellular, India) and they told me Blackberry needs to send me attachment services. Called up redington, blackberry support partner in India. After 4 unsuccessful attempts got hold of the supervisor, who told me that " Files cannot be attached to emails on a blackberry". Prevented myself from fainting and told him to check again. He did check again, told me the same thing and has arranged a callback from Blackberry on tuesday. Researched on the internet, found out about blackberry attachment service. Cannot find it on my device. Connected to desktop manager/Applications/ cannot be seen there too! Have downloaded the OS 6 and installed on my comp.
