New to BB and was trying to send back some Easter greetings via SMS and got an "Invalid Service Center" message when I tried to answer the greetings. I live oversees and I know what is the service # for the provider I use but do not know where to enter it.

I'm really ticked off because they did not give me any approximate date on when I can get my unit. So last monday I called to the service center to check if I can pick the phone already as one week has past. They said that they will follow it up which makes me think if they are doing something about my phone. Then I called this afternoon (Philippine time), they said that it is in the main service center then I asked, when will I get my phone. The person from the service center said that he doesnt know because they cannot connect to the site or whatsover of the main service center.

I can't seem to send text messages (but I can receive them). I'm told by my carrier that I need to change my service center number (and they provided it). I've been looking all over the phone for this option, and can't seem to find it. I keep seeing posts saying "On your device: Options > SMS > Service Center." But "service center" does not appear when I go to options>SMS text. I see the following; screen options conversation style: show names: message options priority: callback number: disable autotext: so my question is;, where do I find this?

They kept my phone with them for 2 days and returned it to me as it is after 2 days.When I checked on delivery the problem still persisted. They said the key needs to be replaced and will take few days and come back after 2 days. When I went back they said 2 more days, after 2 days they said again 2 days. I had to visit there office 5-6 times just to hear 2 more days.When I tried to escalate using service center they said can not take complient. Just getting frustrated day by day with Nokia service.

Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.
I had to reprogram my K800i and lost all my settings. I've got it all set up except for the earpiece volume which is typically low in this model. The fix is to set it in the service menu. When I go to the secret service menu to raise the earpiece volume, it allows me to change it, I hit ok. If I go back, it is at the old level, not the one I just set.
So is it really not saving it or just going to a default level? If it is not saving it, what could be wrong? I have updated the service to the latest one and my phone is not a locked version. I would test it but it is midnight here and I don't wake anyone to have them give me a test call. (no land line either)
so on my iphone 5 at the bottoms of the screen I can usually pull up a thing I think is called the task center and at the top when you pull it down I think it's called the notification center . I'm dot sure what I did but I accidently pushed something and I don't know what it was but I can't pull those things up anymore.

Flight control works great, but Farmville isn't even showing up in the game center. Is anyone else having this problem? I deleted farmville and it said it was in the game center so I deleted that setting as well and when I re-downloaded it, it still didn't show up.
Would you need to change the data center ph# in options, sms when you travel in order for your sms to work? here's the situation. lets imagine i take my 9700 over to europe and pop in a lets say local vodafone prepaid sim. would i have to change that # for sms to work?

Swisscom however, will not repair cosmetic damage and gave me the name of a company in Houston, TX. Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. Once it disappears, the phone again operates as normal, however the clock appears again and I am back at the problem.

All my weather and internet radio applications work fine. The only thing I can not get to work is MMS. I can receive but not send. Says no mms service book.I found a generic T-zones service book that I installed to the phone using DM. Unfortunately the service book does not contain the MMS book. Where can I find or add this service book? There must be a way. Is is possible for someone else to send me their service book and have that work?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi updated my 9790 to OS7.1 and since then, it has no setting to switch to 2Gmode. it only shows 3G, and 2G&3G. is this a glitch in the software or is it a OS issue/ on 3G the battery is even worse so i generally just keep it on 2G and switch to 3G if necessary.

It transferred the first few songs but will not transfer anymore. There is no error message. I did not have this issue with my original phone. I have seen some posts about ensuring MTP is enabled but I do not see an option for Memory to do so. Ho do I ensure MTP is enabled.
