When I hit the menu to do anything and scroll down to something in it I can hit the menu button again and it does the same as selecting it with the trackpad.Is anybody having this happen to them too. I don't know if it is something new because I came from an old 8330. I used to hit menu and if I hit menu again the menu would go away.
View 6 Repliesi have a new nokia x3, around 2 months old, after restarting the phone one time, the main button (the menu button) works for locking/unlocking and even makes the keytone sound when you press it, but i cant open up the menu, its really annoying because without the menu i cannot access the phone! i can still make calls/text messages, but i really want to fix this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy menu button loads my 'phone' and not the menu for the phone. I cannot access the menu that includes: hide, move, open tray etc. I cleaned up the phone and uploaded the newest software via the BB desktop application software. I ended up cleaning it up so well it seemed to go back to factory settings as I lost all my apps. It seemed to solve the problem though and I got my menu button to work properly again. I have since uploaded App World and a new theme. The button still worked properly for 24 hours. Today, I turn it on and all is working well but the menu button loads my phone again. Do you understand that the menu does not load, but rather the 'phone' menu pops up as though I'd pressed the phone icon. I wonder if the 'flex ribbon cable' underneath the buttons is misaligned somehow and when I press the menu key, it is loading the green telephone key menu because of malfunction of the ribbon.

Also when I hold the lock key ( the * key) it goes right into standby mode and I have to use the mute key to get it out of standby.This happened about two days ago when I noticed the ALT function seemed to be stuck on even though the button was not stuck in any way.
View 9 Replies View RelatedYesterday arrived the BB 9320 that i take with my carrier in Italy (Vodafone IT).I started it but when the phone arrive at home page there is a problem: the menu not scroll down, all the page not scroll down.I clicked on the bar over the icon and this open the big menu with all the icon: at screen there are 3 lines of icon, but down the third there are other two, but when i go down with the selection the other lines not scroll up, so i can't see the other lines of menu.Other situation: i open for example the option menu, in the lower right corner there is a little arrow with the tip pointing downwards to indicate that the page continues, so i scroll down but the page not go up so i can't see what there is under.

It'll say I have a new text and I'll go in my inbox to open it but when I click, it won't let me read it. It'll let me open the ones before it, but not the unread one. Earlier it was a normal left-right swipe menu. Now it is a vertical up/down scrolling menu. I don't know how it changed. There was no software update or anything.And is there a setting to switch back to the original left/right swipe.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with the menu/BlackBerry button (whatever it's called) The button seems to be stuck. So when I push it the menu will come up but it will automatically do what is highlighted, which is often close or open the tray if on the home screen. If I lock the phone it will darken but then lighten up as if I have pressed the button, but I haven't. It will say screen locked but will continously darken and lighten back up.
I was having this issue a little while ago and even took my phone apart to clean as I thought that was the issue but it did not help. Then I needed to charge it, which I normally do by plug in, but this time I used usb to computer. There seemed to be a substantial update for my phone which once completed fixed the issue with the button. Which was a huge relief as I was thinking I would have to pay somebody to fix and I don't want to do that. It is very pricey.
Well today it started back up. I connected it to the computer but it said there were no updates and did not fix the button problem. And yes I have tried battery pull.
How do I get the menu button back on the galaxy s6? It is frustrating that I could not access menu on the apps I use. how to ditch that overly useless multitasking button with a menu button?

Now I have a really annoying bug: the menu key, sometimes, stops working and won't bring up the menu if pressed briefly, and won't bring up the task list either (when pressed long). Anyone experiencing this bug? The only way I found to make it work again is turn off and on again my phone... And the task list can't be found in menus, AFAIK. I could do that with my old 5800XM...

I fell in love with my 8310 when I first got it about 2 years ago. It has everything I could need. I am not a internet person but it has the memo pad for my fireman stuff, the right size buttons for texting since I have pretty large hands, and I liked the applications I had. Well my phone has taken the falls and the other day it fell face first into a rain puddle. I grabbed it up fast. The cell has dried and it still works except for the trackball and the menu button. Basically the 2 most important buttons. I took it to the store and the phones strip was still white and never turned red. They told me I am do for a upgrade. I love the 8310, its been great to me. So the question: is there a fix of the keypad I can just get off ebay or the other options were 2 cells I found. Not wanting to do the whole data plan deal and not all stoked about a 3g. The guy was trying to press the torch on me and I told him no thanks.
The cells that interest me are.
1) The 8520. I like this one cause it seems like its not far from what I had maybe a few new bells and whistles. I see it has wifi.
