I am having issues keeping my X7 disconnected to my wi-fi network. I disconnect it and it reconnects itself even though I have set:
Menu > settings >connectivity >
1. Wi-Fi > Options > settings > show wi-fi availability > never
2. settings > switch to wi-fi > manual
And while I'm at it, how do I remove known networks? Maybe that will stop it if I remove the "known" network...
Why my X6 disconnected from wifi after I get connected for few minutes? I've tried using other WiFi, still, its not working! Among all WiFi I've tried before. Only Mcdonald WiFi keep me connected! Anything wrong with my settings?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wanted to update my software so I plugged it into my PC, everything was going fine, the update started and then my PC decided to not recognise the USB anymore and my phone got disconnected First it went blank, so I switched it off. Took out the battery, tried to put it back on but the screen was black and it was constantly vibrating like mad!!I read quite a lot of posts about problems similar to mine, but there is a slight issue here.. My red.green buttons arent working at all. I suspect people from the service that were fixing my phone before forgot to "plug" the buttons because before everything was fine but I was too lazy to go back and managed to live withough these buttons so I cant try red/green and camera button to restart,What to do? Nokia care point? Does my warranty cover things like that?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe wifi in the mini gets disconnected quite often. And the bad thing is that it does not reconnect by itself. If I go in the wifi menu, all networks shows as "Out of range", even after a rescan. The only fix is to disable and re-enable the wifi. Looks like a bug! The phone, model E10i, is updated to firmware 1.6, build 1.0.A.1.38.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.

I bought my Xperia NEO few days back and m having Wifi connection problem. My mobile detects a network properly but when I connect, it shows status Conecting, then it switches to Scanning and in the end shows Disconnected. I've tried it on several hot spots but to no avail. Whether it is sensor problem or some software issue or what shall I do.

Reboot works but should not be a problem. Did a factory reset as well. I have a Motorola sbg900 router? Also turned off firewall in router.

Every time I connect my micro USB to hdmi lead it drops the wifi connection and the screen connection will drop about every ten seconds. I don't seem to have a drain on the battery as a result, but I don't have a clue why it would show up like this.

This is not always happening but once it happens the only way to bring back mobile data is by restarting the phone or manually toggling mobile data on and off in settings. Once it connects to mobile data it'll work for a while but then after being connected on WI-FI for a while it won't go back to mobile data on its own.

Upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 on my Verizon iPhone 4s and am now having trouble connecting (and staying connected) to WiFi via a NETGEAR router. My wife's iPhone 4 and iPad (newest model) do not have the same problem as we have not upgraded to the latest software on them.

Since it was new and running iOS 5.0.1, my 4S hasn't wanted to stay connected to wifi. When I enable wifi in the settings menu, it has no problem finding wifi networks, but when it goes to join them, it can take upwards of 45 seconds to actually connect. Once it connects, it functions perfectly fine using wifi up until the phone gets locked. After locking the phone, it loses its wifi connection and will not reconnect on its own, whereas most iPhones will grab the wifi connection again automatically within a second of unlocking the phone. I've tried using this phone on multiple wifi networks, including an unsecured network, a WPA2 network, and multiple public wifi hotspots, so I think I can rule out any router setup issues. I've done a full restore of the phone, I tried resetting the network settings, and I upgraded to iOS 5.1.1, all to no avail. Is there anything else I can try, or is it safe to call that this is a hardware issue that needs to be resolved at the Genius Bar?

i will connect to wifi, and everything will be ok when im on the phone. but when i lock it and set it down for awhile then go to unlock it the 3G is there and not the wifi symbol. i am wanting to know why that is. it hasn't done it before until now. i recenlty restored my phone because of some other issues my phone was having. those issues are fixed as far as i can tell. but this issue has just appeared. i have also been away from home so i am not on my home wifi, i am on my friends wifi. i feel as if my phone doing this that it is killing my battery alot faster then it should.

Whenever I'm at home my wifi in certain areas will randomly cut out. Half the time this happens when I go to wifi in my settings it will say I'm connected but when I try and open something up again the wifi cuts out, the other half of the time it will take a minute to re-find my wifi network. This only happens on my phone, I've been in the exact same places as my friends who also have iPhone 5's or 4's and they never lose the wifi connection. I've tried forgetting the wifi network and resigning in but that doesn't work. I don't think it's the wifi connector I think it's my phone but I don't know how to fix it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've never had a problem connecting to my home wifi, everything was working fine on Friday, I left the house, went to my girlfriends and my phone connected to her wifi without a problem as usual. I returned home on Saturday and my S5 failed to connect to my wifi, I connected it manually and it connects and disconnects almost instantly. I have 5 other devices including a samsung galaxy note 4 in the house which all work perfectly fine. I've tired switching the router off and on again and that makes no difference, I removed the phone battery for 5 minutes and it then connects to the wifi for about 5-10 seconds then again disconnects, what else I can try....

My new mini pro wi-fi will not stay connected. I have made sure the WEP key is correct, and the signal is strong throughout the house. No probs with the 3 laptops we use. Even sitting with the livebox on my lap the phone connects and disconnects a few seconds later. This means I am using the 2+3G connection at home.....using valuable 'Fair Use' megs up.
