Normally, a pop-up opens automaticly with the commercial page where I need to click to connect. In fact, this pop-up is appearing but it stays white ... The only way it worked for connecting to wifi is when I turn off the 3G but there is surely a solution !

How do i get to the 'Agree to terms' checkbox and click 'Connect' to get on public WIFI fast. I want to get on the public WIFI faster. I select Menu.Connectivity.WirelessLAN select 'attwifi'. connect (connecting to attwifi) connected (looks great so far). Menu.Internet.WhiteBrowserScreen with the lower left arrow. I tap the arrow, tap the 3 bars, tap reload, then tap all these things again, and again, after 15 to 30 minutes I get the 'Agree to terms' checkbox and I'm in. All the apps and email work after I click 'Agree' and get the public authorization cookie. I don't have a data plan with this phone. Is there an option I have to tell the X6 to use WIFI only (or WIFI 1st)?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe wifi in the mini gets disconnected quite often. And the bad thing is that it does not reconnect by itself. If I go in the wifi menu, all networks shows as "Out of range", even after a rescan. The only fix is to disable and re-enable the wifi. Looks like a bug! The phone, model E10i, is updated to firmware 1.6, build 1.0.A.1.38.

After updating my 3 gs from 3.0.1 to 4.0 with pwnagetool I have noticed these issues and would appreciate any help:
- the wifi auto-login for public Wifis is not working (safari is not started automatically). Manually starting it will rarely open he wifi login page. It either uses 3G or says no Internet connection.
- cannot install certificates or settings through safari. It will show a page with the filename and size, but will not install. Nothing is clickable.
- the AT&T carrier logo is missing. It reappers after installing ultrasn0w. Toggling US off and it disappears again.
I reinstalled Ios4 twice and the problems are still there. Can it be old carrier profiles or other settings from my backup? I did reset network and removed all old profiles (after install of ios 4).
I am having problems surfing online on sites such as facebook or google while using WiFi on public access points. And I am in range and the bar is full, and my camera when I take pics at night the light is yellowish and the picture comes out with yellowish lighting.

Menu > settings >connectivity >
1. Wi-Fi > Options > settings > show wi-fi availability > never
2. settings > switch to wi-fi > manual
And while I'm at it, how do I remove known networks? Maybe that will stop it if I remove the "known" network...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. I don't seem to have a drain on the battery as a result, but I don't have a clue why it would show up like this.

This is not always happening but once it happens the only way to bring back mobile data is by restarting the phone or manually toggling mobile data on and off in settings. Once it connects to mobile data it'll work for a while but then after being connected on WI-FI for a while it won't go back to mobile data on its own.
