My x8 somehow cant connect to public wifi i.e mc donalds, starbucks etc. but it connects perfectly fine to my router at home..can anyone tell me how i could connect my x8 while i'm using the public wifi ?

Normally, a pop-up opens automaticly with the commercial page where I need to click to connect. In fact, this pop-up is appearing but it stays white ... The only way it worked for connecting to wifi is when I turn off the 3G but there is surely a solution !

How do i get to the 'Agree to terms' checkbox and click 'Connect' to get on public WIFI fast. I want to get on the public WIFI faster. I select Menu.Connectivity.WirelessLAN select 'attwifi'. connect (connecting to attwifi) connected (looks great so far). Menu.Internet.WhiteBrowserScreen with the lower left arrow. I tap the arrow, tap the 3 bars, tap reload, then tap all these things again, and again, after 15 to 30 minutes I get the 'Agree to terms' checkbox and I'm in. All the apps and email work after I click 'Agree' and get the public authorization cookie. I don't have a data plan with this phone. Is there an option I have to tell the X6 to use WIFI only (or WIFI 1st)?

It would find the wifi of the hotel to connect to, I would press connect, and then it would take me to a supposed webpage to "log in" for free but that webpage would NEVER load! After updating my 3 gs from 3.0.1 to 4.0 with pwnagetool I have noticed these issues and would appreciate any help:
- the wifi auto-login for public Wifis is not working (safari is not started automatically). Manually starting it will rarely open he wifi login page. It either uses 3G or says no Internet connection.
- cannot install certificates or settings through safari. It will show a page with the filename and size, but will not install. Nothing is clickable.
- the AT&T carrier logo is missing. It reappers after installing ultrasn0w. Toggling US off and it disappears again.
I reinstalled Ios4 twice and the problems are still there. Can it be old carrier profiles or other settings from my backup? I did reset network and removed all old profiles (after install of ios 4).
I am having problems surfing online on sites such as facebook or google while using WiFi on public access points. And I am in range and the bar is full, and my camera when I take pics at night the light is yellowish and the picture comes out with yellowish lighting.

I've googled this problem and tried the static IP address route which didn't help. I've reset the phone, done a phone repair, removed and re-enabled security on my router. Nothing helps.
The problem seems to be that the phone continually scans for new networks, so it will connect to my wireless, scan for new, disconnect then reconnect constantly. So if I try access anything web based, I maybe have to try 5 or 6 times before I'm lucky enough for it to be trying right at the moment it's connected.
