Why my X6 disconnected from wifi after I get connected for few minutes? I've tried using other WiFi, still, its not working! Among all WiFi I've tried before. Only Mcdonald WiFi keep me connected! Anything wrong with my settings?
View 2 RepliesI am having issues keeping my X7 disconnected to my wi-fi network. I disconnect it and it reconnects itself even though I have set:
Menu > settings >connectivity >
1. Wi-Fi > Options > settings > show wi-fi availability > never
2. settings > switch to wi-fi > manual
And while I'm at it, how do I remove known networks? Maybe that will stop it if I remove the "known" network...
When I'm trying to connect to my home network with wifi with correct username and passwords. Its showing me connecting and then it is getting disconnected automatically after connected.

My mobile detects a network properly but when I connect, it shows status Conecting, then it switches to Scanning and in the end shows Disconnected. I've tried it on several hot spots but to no avail. View 3 Replies View RelatedI wanted to update my software so I plugged it into my PC, everything was going fine, the update started and then my PC decided to not recognise the USB anymore and my phone got disconnected First it went blank, so I switched it off. Took out the battery, tried to put it back on but the screen was black and it was constantly vibrating like mad!!I read quite a lot of posts about problems similar to mine, but there is a slight issue here.. My red.green buttons arent working at all. I suspect people from the service that were fixing my phone before forgot to "plug" the buttons because before everything was fine but I was too lazy to go back and managed to live withough these buttons so I cant try red/green and camera button to restart,What to do? Nokia care point? Does my warranty cover things like that?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe wifi in the mini gets disconnected quite often. And the bad thing is that it does not reconnect by itself. If I go in the wifi menu, all networks shows as "Out of range", even after a rescan. The only fix is to disable and re-enable the wifi. Looks like a bug! The phone, model E10i, is updated to firmware 1.6, build 1.0.A.1.38.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.

Got my Xoom yesterday and it fired up, synced, etc. Since the, I pick it up to use it and it is disconnected but shows strong signal. Reboot works but should not be a problem. Did a factory reset as well. I have a Motorola sbg900 router? Also turned off firewall in router.

Every time I connect my micro USB to hdmi lead it drops the wifi connection and the screen connection will drop about every ten seconds. I don't seem to have a drain on the battery as a result, but I don't have a clue why it would show up like this.

This is not always happening but once it happens the only way to bring back mobile data is by restarting the phone or manually toggling mobile data on and off in settings. Once it connects to mobile data it'll work for a while but then after being connected on WI-FI for a while it won't go back to mobile data on its own.

I click on the username section to bring up Nokias text box, type my email and press ok to paste it to the username box. Nothing appears, same happens for the password.Phone has the latest software and nothign was done prior to it happening. Just went ot log on as normal and nothing appeared in the boxes.

The problem is my phone still randomly connects to 3G when I'm out and about. There seem to be some background processes using data and thus making me waste money. I changed the communities and mail settings but it still connects to 3G randomly.

Now I dont have any network signal unless the phone is on plugged to a charger and also my battery seems to drain even when switched off. Everytime I charge the battery, it heats up and it always says battery not fully charged even when I leave it overnight.

It works fine but when I am at my brothers house and using his wifi it will only connect to the Internet for a few pages or communications via whatsapp etc., then I have to turn off and on the wifi to go again. He had the same problem with his phone which was also a x10 but he has no problem since he got the new Arc. His wifes iphone also works fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a HTC one (4 days ago) and already exchanged the phone once do to a defect in the wifi & now I'm about to change the phone again due to the same issue.
The phone will connect to the internet via wifi, but only work for 5 minutes, then nothing. The phone shows that a wifi signal is still available & that it is connected, but if you try to surf the net or refesh emails/facebook/weather, nothing. A message then appears on the phone stating connection timeout and you have to turn wifi off, then on again, for another 5 mins connection.
So far I've tried..................
1.Different routers, at home/mobile broadband/work/friends - same issue.
2. Contacting HTC and using 'safe mode' whilst they talked to me - same issue.
3. Factory reset - same issue.
4. New phone, changed at a recognised shop - same issue.
Luckily enough I'm within my 7 day phone exchange with my phone provider, so the things going back & exchanging for a different brand...............
On a different note, my wife also got a new phone at the same time, HTC One Mini & this is working ideal.
