My school has their own wifi, and I would use it on a daily basis, and I need it because its my only form of communication with my mother while Im at school. One day, all of a sudden, it just stopped working, and now it says disconnected. My phone works with my at home wifi, just not the schools. Is it a problem with the network or my phone?

When I first opened up Blackberry Messenger, It asked me to associate a contact with my identity.It was my first night with the touchscreen keyboard and I unwittingly selected the wrong contact from my list.Now when I view my Contact Profile and look up "View My Additional Info" it has the information for the wrong contact. I tried using the "Remove Link WIth Blackberry Contact" from the "View Additional Info" window, but even when I hit "yes" to the warning the wrong information still remains.How do I change the info to the correct contact? or how do I reset the whole thing? or how do I edit the existing information?

How do I make it save user names and passwords for logging in to secure web sites? We upgraded to the BB so that we could accept new orders on the fly, but the log in page for our client does not save the user name and password, and we have to type it in each time; it can mean the difference between getting the order or losing it to another vender.
I'm using BB Bold 9700 Version 5.0.0.593. Why is it when I put my BB in holster, my network will always get disconnected after a while? Sometime when I using half way will get disconnected. Do I need to do any setting to keep it connected.

I am having issues keeping my X7 disconnected to my wi-fi network. I disconnect it and it reconnects itself even though I have set:
Menu > settings >connectivity >
1. Wi-Fi > Options > settings > show wi-fi availability > never
2. settings > switch to wi-fi > manual
And while I'm at it, how do I remove known networks? Maybe that will stop it if I remove the "known" network...

If I go in the wifi menu, all networks shows as "Out of range", even after a rescan. The only fix is to disable and re-enable the wifi. Looks like a bug! View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.

This is not always happening but once it happens the only way to bring back mobile data is by restarting the phone or manually toggling mobile data on and off in settings. Once it connects to mobile data it'll work for a while but then after being connected on WI-FI for a while it won't go back to mobile data on its own.
