Jan 19, 2012I am having issues keeping my X7 disconnected to my wi-fi network. I disconnect it and it reconnects itself even though I have set:
Menu > settings >connectivity >
1. Wi-Fi > Options > settings > show wi-fi availability > never
2. settings > switch to wi-fi > manual
And while I'm at it, how do I remove known networks? Maybe that will stop it if I remove the "known" network...

Jun 28, 2011I wanted to update my software so I plugged it into my PC, everything was going fine, the update started and then my PC decided to not recognise the USB anymore and my phone got disconnected First it went blank, so I switched it off. Took out the battery, tried to put it back on but the screen was black and it was constantly vibrating like mad!!I read quite a lot of posts about problems similar to mine, but there is a slight issue here.. My red.green buttons arent working at all. I suspect people from the service that were fixing my phone before forgot to "plug" the buttons because before everything was fine but I was too lazy to go back and managed to live withough these buttons so I cant try red/green and camera button to restart,What to do? Nokia care point? Does my warranty cover things like that?

May 1, 2010I've seen this many times on these threads but I have not seen any answers. Whenever I try to use media sync (3.0 i believe it is) it all works fine until i press the sync button, windows 7 will then ask me if i want to scan and fix the media card i have installed and then media sync will come up with the error message 'some files were not transferred. there was insufficient space or the blackberry device was disconnected.' When i scan it nothing is wrong and then when i try to sync it again, the exact same thing happens, in the same order.

It used to go blink away, all by its own or even restart. Recently, the problem had aggravated and there was some other proble. This used to happen whenever I connected my uSB device to my cell and m pc. My wouldn't detect it and the msg would appear on the cell's screen reading, "Unsupported USB device..I went to Nokia Care. After 8 days of service I got my cell back with software upgraded and the problems taken car of. After almost less than a week the message of 'UNSUPPORTED DEVICE' has started to appear on the screen, which means there's certainly a problem with the device itself.

Apr 16, 2012During my (problematic!) run this morning, I received several 'Heart rate monitor disconnected' and 'Footpod disconnected' messages through the headphones. I must have heard each message at least a dozen time. Sure enough, after having synced the run, the heart data is all over the place, with lots of 'missing' bits. Since we can't see anything footpod-related on the portal, I don't know about that one.
Now, I could probably dismiss this as a battery (in the HRM or footpod) error, but since I've *never* had this problem before, and it was happening with *both* ANT+ devices during the SAME run, I am fully suspecting the MOTOACTV to be the culprit here. And also.. the device would NOT sync to the wifi network when I got home later (this has never happened before). Tried several times. It was as if the ANT+ and Wi-Fi radios were shot. A restart of the watch got it syncing correctly...
