many of my apps will not update now and many more will not install , i have the apk files and they dont install either. also when i used "app saver" to restore my old apps after a factory reset those apps wont show up in the market and i can not update them.
View 1 RepliesI've attempted over 10 times to update my e71's firmware from version 200.x.x to 400.x.x and everytime the phone restarts about a minute into the update and NSU instructs me to re-establish the connection by removing the battery etc. The phone reboots by itself even if I do not remove the battery. upon clicking 'retry' the update fails again a minute into the process. I'm using NSU version 1.8.10en.Is there anything I could try to update the phone successfully?

I tried to install the current software update on my Nokia E63. The update (109 MB) gets downloaded to my PC but after that I get the following error:
"Could not connect to the server. The software updates server could not be reached. Make sure the internet connection is working and try again. If the problem persists check your firewall settings or contact your network administrator. You can still install previously downloaded software updates."
I even switched off my firewall and tried, but in vain.
I tried to update nokia e71 phone to firmware 400.21.013 and it was unsuccessful. The phone will not turn on.
Is there any way to fix this by myself using PC + software or do I have to hand it in to Nokia Care?
My iMessage is stating "activation unsuccessful" since I did the new update.

I have an AT&T GoPhone account. When the phone boots up with an AT&T SIM card installed, it goes to the "SIM Network Unlock Pin" request screen. I have worked with both Motorola and AT&T tech support personnel for many, many hours to get my Atrix to accept the unlock code I have been given from AT&T (22314992). The Atrix response is always "Network unlock pin unsuccessful". The phone otherwise works beautifully after a fastboot coldboot (wi-fi, program installs & usage, etc). But one simple problem...I can not make phone calls.

It works well with AT&T SIM but I wanted to unlock it for using an international SIM when traveling outside. I got the unlock code from AT&T but the phone didn't accept the code. I tried the code twice and both times, I got this message "Network Unlock Request Unsuccessful". I have confirmed the IMEI by using *#06# and matching it with the number on the back sticker. I checked with AT&T again and they said that Mot said that the original code provided is the right one for my phone.
So, I am stuck now. I don't know what I can do about this phone. I would really love to be able to use it outside the US and that was one of the reasons I paid an unsubsized price for it.Anyone else facing similar problems with the Atrix 2? Is there a software update that can fix this issue? I don't want to try the same code more times because I am afraid that it will hard lock.

Out of no where, I noticed that my phone rebooted itself without me initiating a reboot. The progress bar makes it around 60% or so then the screen goes dark and starts the reboot process all over again. Before I did, I created a full system backup using TWRP. Once I wiped the phone I logged into my google account to retrieve all my photos which was successful. I then updated my phone multiple times to reach version 5.1.1. My photos were no longer there even after I logged into my google account. Is there any way I can retrieve my lost photos/videos through the TWRP backup, or via any other method. I lost over 1000 photos.

I am encrypted and TWRP can decrypt still, however when I try to boot the phone, I get the Decryption unsuccessful message and it wants me to reset the phone. I hit reset, it factory resets in TWRP, and it just comes to the same screen upon boot.

Here is the problem once again: I plug my phone into my computer and start Motorola Software Update, which is up to date. It says it is going to update the software on my phone. I got a message about not being able to add contacts without an account but all acounts were signed in.So when i saw a new software update was available I was excited and hoping iI downloaded and installed it. Walked quickly through the family room features and then started getting repeated error from voice command (which I hadn't even tried to use). When I pulled the battery because I couldn't stop the error from coming up the phone will no longer start up. It is fully charged and will power up, give me the motoblur graphic and get to the hot pink 'work together' logo and freezes there. I'm totally lost as to what to do. Is my phone dead? Tap for more."Choosing either of those will take me to the Agenda View showing the most current events.But, If I choose to the month view, the date defaults to December of 1969. I would then need to press "Today" so that I can view the current month and year.
