Xperia Z2 :: WiFi Works On Phone Only Very Limited
Jan 31, 2015I have the problem that the wifi works on my Xperia z2 only very limited. If my smartphone is connected to the wifi, everything is either very fast and good, or it loads only very slowly and almost did not go. It also disturbs other devices (PC, Playstation, etc.), which are then work very slowly. When i turn of my wifi from the smartphone, all other devices functioning again as always, and everything loads very fast again. I have that problem since one week.

Aug 1, 2015I have had my Sony Xperia Z3 for a month. I've never dropped it. About an hour ago, the screen went black while I was checking something on the phone. At first I thought the battery ran out, but turns out I have plenty of battery and the phone is on charger now. Then I realised that phone works just fine, it rings when someone calls me, when there are some notifications you can hear a sound too. I can even set volume. Just the screen is black all the time.

Jun 4, 2014My phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.

Jan 21, 2010everything on the phone works except the screen is always black. when i turn on the phone, the keypad lights up and the start up nokia tune plays, but there is nothing on the screen. if someone rings the phone, i can answer and it works fine. i can connect to the phone to the pc but i cannot see anything on the phone screen. i have watched many videos on Internet showing how to change the screen and i am pretty confident i could do it for myself but before i spend money on a new screen i want to know will replacing the screen fix the problem?

Dec 19, 2011i bought a blackberry 9360 on Saturday 17th December and it worked fine on that day and then i turned it off and put it back in its box, the next day when i went to turn it on, the screen wasjust completley black but the keypad lights would still be on and the LED light would be flashing red, i could even hear the sound of me getting a new message, i turned it off again and left it for the rest of the day and i turned it on monday and the same has happened, the screen is still black when i turn it on i havent even properly used it yet!

May 18, 2012I have used the iPhone 4 (Factory Unlocked) for more than a year now with only minor issues. Like on a usual day I was playing a word game "Rumble" then quit the game, connected my earphones for music & pressed the "Home" button on the phone to unlock it and the screen was Black. This was a sudden shocker!! . I just put the phone to rest for a while & after about an hour crossed my fingers and tried the Home button again but the Black screen continued. So the backlight of the iPhone works I can say that bcoz I see the phone luminates but the "Slide to Unlock" is cannot be seen. Since I have been using the phone for a while I know the exact position of "Slide to Unlock" so if I slide my finger it unlocks too with the default "unlocking (click) noise" but again the icons of the apps cannot be seen, all I see is a fadely luminated grid. I receive SMS's and Calls although I cant read them nor can I see whos calling. Since the screen is blank I cant operate the phone but the phone seems to be working. I hence tried the reboot, restart, shutdown & start again, restore backup, update iOS everything a desperate user would do but nothing has worked till now. There is not much discussion on this issue anywhere hence No resolution. I am gonna visit an Apple service center today and keep my fingers crossed. I have taken utmost care of the phone. Till date it is scratchless, spotless.

May 19, 2011if there is a way of name id to work on rogers network in toronto canada?
I have xperia x10 but it only shows the number on the screeen not the name id unless I have saved that no in my contact. When I change the sim to my ericsson w705 or w790, it always shows the name id with number?
Could ericsson try to solve this issue in their new update because if you are already used to of seeing the name id then it is very weird to see only the number.

Aug 2, 2011I bought my phone in May 2011, and for the very first time was able to sync my phone contacts with my facebook contacts. As a bit of a socialite, this was perfect! I was able to see status updates from my contacts list, i was able to see their profile pictures flash on screen if they phoned, texted or emailed, and I was able to even see status updates from my contacts too.
Anyway, a few days ago i downloaded an updated FB app from Marketplace. All was still fine, and contacts in syn. Then earlier today i accidentally logged out of the FB app and it took all the connected info betwene my contacts and FB with it.
I have since logged back in and resynced my contacts. However... no longer are the profile pictures connected (I usually recognise calls, emails and texts by the photo not the name), i cant see facebook related information, and I just dont like it I've played around with all the options of views, syncs, and options etc but to no avail.

Jul 15, 2011I have a Bold 9700. OS 6.I can only see a white screen with a gray bar down it.The phone appears to be working behind it - it vibrates, LED blinks, etc when a message comes in. I have rebooted, & pulled battery. I have left the battery out for a time. I tried a different battery.With the desktop software I have restored a previous back up, i can do a current back up & see what apps are installed, as well.All with no change.

When I was leaving the next day, I realized I lost my phone and looked outside for it.It was right where we had parked the car the night before, but face down with the back cover detached and laying a foot away.When I picked it up and turned it over, the whole screen was shattered, but still intact save a few small pieces of glass missing around the corners.It looked pretty bad. I took the chance of trying to turn it on, and to my surprise, it still worked! I put a piece of clear packing tape over the screen, and I've been using it for the past 2 days.Can I get a new phone? I'll attach a video of me using the destroyed one as soon as I get home tonight and have access to a regular camera.

Xperia Z2 :: Radio FM Only Works If Track ID Is Open
Sep 17, 2014I have a Sony Xperia Z2 with Android 4.4.4, radio fm version 4.0, latest track id 4.1.B.0.15. And Google services 7.0.92
The problem is that when I start the radio it can search for stations, but no sound is reproduced by speaker or headphones.
It only starts to work if I go to options and start track ID to find the song reproducing. And if I stop track ID sound stops to.

Mar 6, 2012So - one of my dumb animals knocked my phone off a table (which they weren't supposed to be on in the first place) and it landed on the table foot (brass) face down and cracked the screen. The crack is down near the bottom (not on main viewing screen). Although the phone still works great, the crack is driving me crazy, and would anticipate it getting bigger at some point. I have the Verizon full replacement warranty, but don't really want a refurb as my BIONIC works perfect and don't want to get one someone returned that wasn't.
Just don't think Verizon will do anything except give me a refurb, and I don't have an upgrade coming for sometime.

Oct 24, 2010I dont know what i have done or deleted improperly but I can no longer get android market to work on my X10 mini pro phone today. I have tried clearing cache and re-starting phone, turning off wi-fi and turning it back on again. when i click on the Market Icon i just get a white screen briefly for under a second and then it goes back to standby/menu screen I cannot get android market at all. I dont really fancy restoring the phone back to factory defaults to get it sorted out, is there any other way I can restore the market can I maybe download it and associated files from the internet somewhere. My phone is updated to 2.1 firmware by the way.

Aside from what mentioned above there are 2 more things that’s bother me...
1. There are some bloatware on the phone provided by sony but there are no options to uninstall them.Â
2. While on call nothing else works the soft keys gets disabled, you can’t type a msg the keyboard doesn’t come up. This was how it was in my Z as well. In the forum some people mentioned that it got resolved in the 4.3 update, however i don’t think it is yet.
