Galaxy S5 :: Verizon Logo Covers Notification Icons On Lollipop 5.0 Locked Screen
Feb 6, 2015I updated my Samsung Galaxy S5 to Lollipop 5.0, and now when my screen is locked, the Verizon Wireless logo is in the upper left corner. I didn't mind it until I realized that I can no longer view any notification icons for texts, email, missed calls, etc. when my phone is locked. It's annoying to have to unlock my phone just to see if I have any notifications.how to move the logo somewhere else on the locked screen?

Jan 1, 2015I have got an Sony z3 and was using it fine for the last 8-7months,the problem is touch icon in my mob doesn't respond works once in a blue moon. homebutton, backbiting and the another button used to close opened apps also don't work, it may if click for nearly 20-25times.
Second problem: I can't scroll down the notification bar in portrait mode,it works in landscape mode.this was the first which had araised in my phone and later the home screen buttons.

My phone app is on my home page but sometimes I have to search for the icon because it has moved. So here my question is there a way to lock the icon/apps in place so they can move with out unlocking them? I have tried to find a app for this but my search only address' the lock screen.

BB Bold :: 9900 -instant Message Icons Locked?
Mar 10, 2012I tried to delete the instant message folder from the bb. the folder disappeared but the icons leading me to yahoo messenger and google talk are now locked onto my home screen. you can only opn them. no option for delete or move. i just want them to disappear so i can out my most used icons up there.

I am unable to pull down the notification bar when the phone is vertical only when the phone horizontal am I able to successfully pull the drop down notification bar down. Has anyone else experienced this issue and am I simply missing a setting somewhere or do I need to repair the hardware?? I have been using this Xperia mini pro (SK17i) for last 10 months. I still don't get ICS (Android 4). It is still 2.3.4.

I have done everything correctly & the settings show that the new ringtone has been saved, however the old ringtone sounds when a text or other notification is received. I keep checking the settings & it shows the newly saved one, but obviously this does come through as that one ....NB I have successfully changed my Phone ringtone, the problem only lies with the Notification one.

There are some icons showing up at the very top of my bar that aren't obvious and from what I can tell this is the 'notifications bar'. Things such as e-mail are obvious, but there are other ones I can't exactly distinguish. Is there a goto reference chart so I know what these notifications are? And is there a quick way to access these notifications so they take me to the respective app so the notification is removed?

So for example if I have 3 e-mails and 1 text it shows 4 as the e-mail Notification icon. I have friends on Vodafone who get two separate icons. So far I've tried the following: I've tried updating the firmware to the latest sticky at the top of this forum. Making sure Display New message indicator under General Options is set to yes Battery pull. I still get a red star over the SMS icon in the menu, but just no notification. In my themes menu I have Precision Zen and Precision Orange. Both have the same issue.

I have tried a battery pull, and searching for unread text messages, there are none, there are also no updates for any apps, or any facebook notifications - I have reset my fb notifications from the fb app and nothing has changed.
They have been stuck there for over a week and it is beginning to irritate me.

Nov 9, 2011I was just using the Bionic to check email when bang, everything disapeared. o email screen, no phone icon or other bottom row and now notifications.All I had was 3 or 4 icons per screen and I could look at the screens double tapping the home and getting the big view. But most apps were missing from the home pages though and none would start. I finally realized that I was seeing a zoomed image of the home page scroller screens.I tried everything to get to the apps drawer but couldn't. I wanted to snap a screengrabber.I had to shut it down, restart and phone is back to normal.The image I'm attaching is mocked up from a capture I made with no background. Wish I could have captured it for real.

On the GS3, certain icons would show "event counters" or whatever they're called in the top right corner. The email icon would show me how many unread emails I had. The Text Messaging app would show me how many unread texts i had. Facebook would show me how many unread notifications I had, etc etc... They were all the same, a number in a little orange bubble in the top right corner of each respective icon.
