Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Lag During Unlock And Automated Tasks Definition
May 15, 2012
I am facing the issue regarding a lag with when trying to unlock with the slider button and with the unlock pattern, and when trying to answer calls sliding the button. But, for example, if I am doing something on the phone and somebody calls me, the slide answer button works without a problem, as well as the pattern definition in the security settings. So, since this only appends when the phone is in sleep mode, more than with the tasks themselves, I guess this lag might be related with the internal process to turn it back on. It seems that it takes something like 4 to 5 seconds to start to work properly. One other thing, after the restore of the OS, during the initial configuration, when I first connected the audio jack, inadvertently I have defined an incorrect task (opening a web page).
It is not possible to set a Task in the Calendar application. When pointing to Task a blank page open and is not possible to write anything. The events and the rest of the Calendar work OK.
I just purchased a Z3. The Active Sync works well regarding E-mail, Contacts and Calendar (/appointments). However, the tasks (To do-list) from Outlook are not available. When trying to display "Tasks" in the Z3 Calendar menu, the app stops every time.
Anyone who knows how to set up the X10 mini to synchronize calender, contacts, notes and tasks with outlook? Are not looking for the full integration with email, but a simple integration on a push/pull basis similar to the functionality available on SE PC suite for the older models using the USB cabel
Is there an app, like Tasker that can automatically turn on and off the WiFi Calling feature.I like using the WiFi Calling feature when I am on my home WiFi, but I don't tend to use it when I am away from home.Sometimes I tend to forget to turn on the WiFi Calling feature when I get home, and other times I forget to turn it off when I am away from home.
So I am wondering if there is an app that will turn on the WiFi Calling feature when my phone connects to my home WiFi and turns off the WiFi Calling feature when I get out of range of my home WiFi.
I'm noticing that Google really likes to sync in the background throughout the day. Any good way to automatically sync my accounts(mainly Google and Samsung) only when I'm connected to Wifi and External Power? I'd like a simple way to do this hopefully without needing to root the S6.
I've only just bought the Nokia 1520 and its my first smart phone experience.... When I call one of those service lines where you have to press numbers from a Menu - like '1' for enquiries, '2' for help desk etc - I pull up the screen keypad in the call window and tap the number but it doesn't seem to register.
I've downloaded the trial version of Beejive and want to install it. I am using OS 4.6.1.231 and am using the latest Blackberry Desktop program (v5.0.1). The instructions to install Beejive say to connect my BB to my comp and choose the application loader to add Beejive. I then "Browse" to the alx file and click on it.Fine. I do all that and then click on "next." I then see that I will I be reinstalling all the programs that have check marks by them. I decide I just want to install Beejive only so I go back and untick the apps I want to leave alone but there is only "remove" or "install" and that unticking one would result in its removal. Is installing Beejive through BB Desktop the only way to get it to work? Is there no way to go to get a jad file and download that for an automated install?
I have a Nokia Supernova 7210 and am trying to call a calling card service using their access numbers. When the automated machine answers and tells me to enter my pin number, my phone still displays "Calling <number>..." as if it is still dialing. As a result, other than the pound key, all other keys on the numpad are locked and do not work. Only option I have is to press the "End Call" button. Are there any workarounds/solutions for this? The phone thinks it is still dialing even when the other side has picked up so I cannot use the numpad.
When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference. Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
I am a new BB user and have asked several people how to speed dial into my office's automated voice mail system to retrieve messages. Previously on standard cell phones, I would dial the phone number, insert "ppp" for pauses while the auto attendant would prompt the next step. There are 3 series of number to get all the way in. Example would be: 800-555-5555ppp555ppp5555ppp5555 and I would be in to retrieve messages.
I have tried a few different options and have be unsuccessful. My carrier is AT&T.BB is a Bold 9700.Does anyone have any suggestions??
I remember my z2 was able to set the bluetooth unlock range between my phone and my smartband at android 4.4, but this function seen gone in android 5.1,i can unlock my phone in android 5.1 with any range just need the bluetooth connected.
my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?
I have just had to re-install my device os and my carrier installed v5.0 for me.On connecting it to my pc to reconfigure the organizer sync I could not set up the memopad sync nor the tasks as these modules are not installed.Previously I would have gone to the Applications tab on the Desktop Manager and installed it from there... however, since the upgrade none of the core modules and applications are showing.
I have been using WM phones for several years and one of the most important things in my daily usage is Outlook integration of tasks to WM and alerts that go with them.Has anyone seen how tasks are integrated in the new UI?I have seen several videos but none showing details on the task integration or reminders.
I did a wireless OS update recently and now my memo pad and tasks icons are gone. (I don't know for sure if the update wiped them out, but that's my only guess.)I really need to get them back.I've done some searching and what others have tried isn't working for me. They aren't just hidden, they aren't showing on the 9700 as installed apps, and they don't show up in the application loader in desktop manager on my computer. I'm not sure what else to do.Is there a way to do an OTA install?
I has installed os 6 and it was working fine but today it went funny and everytime I tried to open anything it opened tasks instead. I did a downgrade but its still doing it sometimes?
i had preoblems with my curve 8520 last night resulting me to reinstall the OS. I luckily used blackberry protect to back everything up. However all of the games have disapeared that came with the phone originaly and the notes and task apps have disappeared. I am not too worried about the games but I had a large amount of notes and tasks that I need to get back?
I have noticed that after I shut down and reboot my phone, even after choosing the wipe cache option prior to restarting, that my previously open apps are still showing in the recent apps screen. Shouldn't they have been cleared after shutting the phone off? I don't know if this started after Lollipop or before.
I had to re-install my blackberry's operating system when it crashed the other day and since the installation I have not been able to find either the tasks or the notes applications. Is there any way to download just these applications without re-installing the whole operating system again?
I use outlook 2007 (No exchange server), that includes tasks and all day events. Android doesn't support tasks and all day event reminders don't work .
Brand new to BB, switched from Palm T/X. I use both calendar and Tasks a lot. I need them both as I use them for different things. Anyway, I have entered about 4 recurring (monthly) tasks on my Storm 2 9550 AND I enable "view tasks in the Calendar options. Despite this, I only see the upcoming tasks for the next month. In other words, even though they should be showing on the 1st of each month, they are only showing for 1 month.
I have been through the many Google synching problems already and finally managed to get the calendar going as planned. However since last week all the entries are now showing twice, one in my "google calendar" and the same entry again in my "device" calendar. I would like to only show one of them as the default, but I can't set a default evidently, so in order to show the entries once only I need to select the calendar manually each time. How can I
Just upgraded (?) to os 5.0.0.771, Bold 9000 on Telstra Australia. This update was offered via an email from RIM.The "Tasks" icon has now gone, and I cannot synch my tasks with Outlook.Any ideas how I can get the "Tasks" back, or should I try again to re-install the update?
I would like to access a file on my SDCard directly from a link in the Notes section of my Tasks application.
I am able to put a link there and access a web page, simply by typing a web address (e.g. http://www.sample.com), which converts to a link after I close and re-open the task. From an open browser window, I am also able to access a file that exists on my SDCard (e.g. file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/documents/sample.pdf will go fetch the file and then open my default PDF reader just as it ought to). But when I type "file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/...etc..." into the notes section, it remains as text, and does not get recognized as/ converted to a link to the file.
