I have just had to re-install my device os and my carrier installed v5.0 for me.On connecting it to my pc to reconfigure the organizer sync I could not set up the memopad sync nor the tasks as these modules are not installed.Previously I would have gone to the Applications tab on the Desktop Manager and installed it from there... however, since the upgrade none of the core modules and applications are showing.

curve 8520, i have somehow lost tasks and memopad application from my phone. I use Mac and have tried to reload the OS three times but could not get this two applications back on my phone. the same. The OS version on phone is 5.0 and the DM is latest version. How can i get them back on the phone?

After installing the new OS, I lost all my third party program including the -what I thought should be the default applications- memopad, task, password keeper, and documents togo. I dont care about the other third party applications, but how do I get back my memopad, task, password keeper, and documents togo ??Please I need help badly, I keep my important infos in those applications.

After restoring my last backup, I still notice that my memopad is missing. When I look at my list of files from the backup, it shows my memos as unavailable because they have been configured for wireless syncronization or wireless backup and are read-only. Is there a way to correct this and restore my memos and memopad?

However all of the games have disapeared that came with the phone originaly and the notes and task apps have disappeared. I have bought a new BB Curve 8520. On my desktop I have Windows 7, with Microsoft Outlook 2007. My e-mail is a Windows Live account through Office Live, which I believe is a web-based e-mail account. This means, in order for me to get e-mail in Outlook, I have to use the Microsoft OutlooIk Connector. When I go to sync using Desktop Manager, I first try and install ntellisync through the Wizard and I get a “successfully installed message, but when I click “OK” the error: "Folder is no longer part of system data source or the folder could not be found” appears and I am never able to sync successfully, either through the USB or wirelessly. I have uninstalled and re-installed the Desktop Manager many times. However, I am receiving the e-mails through to my BB. But if I'm unable to sync Calendar, Tasks or Contacts etc. with my Desktop, the BB is not a lot of help or benefit to me.

2) Calendar
3) Memopad

I have asked my phone provider and they say they should be able to transfer my contacts but cannot guarantee anything else.
I have been using Palm for 10 years and I have just switched to BlackBerry. I used to have folders in my Memopad to keep my memos organized. I realized that BlackBerry uses Categories (similar to keywords / Gmail labels / blog tags), where one memo can have multiple categories. I am not used to it.It is possible to have folders in my BlackBerry Memopad?
I am sure I am not the only one wanting this because there used to be millions of Palm users and now they have to switch to another platform to keep their personal information manager (PIM) organizer data intact.
Ok, So I was wondering if I were to take the plunge and upgrade to 5.0, since ATT hasnt released it yet and shows no signs of releasing it anytime soon, Will my memopads and password keeper information still be there when I load up 5.0? I have alot of stuff on these so losing them would mean no upgrade for me....Also I dont have a data plan, that wouldnt cause any problems right?

Anyway, I have entered about 4 recurring (monthly) tasks on my Storm 2 9550 AND I enable "view tasks in the Calendar options. Despite this, I only see the upcoming tasks for the next month. In other words, even though they should be showing on the 1st of each month, they are only showing for 1 month.

However since last week all the entries are now showing twice, one in my "google calendar" and the same entry again in my "device" calendar. I would like to only show one of them as the default, but I can't set a default evidently, so in order to show the entries once only I need to select the calendar manually each time.
How can I
a.) get rid of the duplicates - or alternatively
b.) show one calendar as the default

Just upgraded (?) to os 5.0.0.771, Bold 9000 on Telstra Australia.This update was offered via an email from RIM.The "Tasks" icon has now gone, and I cannot synch my tasks with Outlook.Any ideas how I can get the "Tasks" back, or should I try again to re-install the update?
