curve 8520, i have somehow lost tasks and memopad application from my phone. I use Mac and have tried to reload the OS three times but could not get this two applications back on my phone. the same. The OS version on phone is 5.0 and the DM is latest version. How can i get them back on the phone?

I have just had to re-install my device os and my carrier installed v5.0 for me.On connecting it to my pc to reconfigure the organizer sync I could not set up the memopad sync nor the tasks as these modules are not installed.Previously I would have gone to the Applications tab on the Desktop Manager and installed it from there... however, since the upgrade none of the core modules and applications are showing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have bought a new BB Curve 8520. On my desktop I have Windows 7, with Microsoft Outlook 2007. My e-mail is a Windows Live account through Office Live, which I believe is a web-based e-mail account. This means, in order for me to get e-mail in Outlook, I have to use the Microsoft OutlooIk Connector. When I go to sync using Desktop Manager, I first try and install ntellisync through the Wizard and I get a “successfully installed message, but when I click “OK” the error: "Folder is no longer part of system data source or the folder could not be found” appears and I am never able to sync successfully, either through the USB or wirelessly. I have uninstalled and re-installed the Desktop Manager many times. However, I am receiving the e-mails through to my BB. But if I'm unable to sync Calendar, Tasks or Contacts etc. with my Desktop, the BB is not a lot of help or benefit to me.

Moreover, when i plug usb to ma computer and to my phone, computer finds a hardware named " MTP", computer tries to install it but gives an error saying that a problem occured during hardware installation and it might not work properly
I recently updated to V4.5, and after the installation, I noticed that lots of things were missing, so I did a restore of my last backup. After restoring my last backup, I still notice that my memopad is missing. When I look at my list of files from the backup, it shows my memos as unavailable because they have been configured for wireless syncronization or wireless backup and are read-only. Is there a way to correct this and restore my memos and memopad?

The biggest problem is that i cant install any software for my phone, like .sis and .sisx files. I know about the certificate process which is also a problem but my phone cant even get to that. Everytime i try to install an app, opera mini 7 for example, straight from m.opera.com, it just pops up "File corrupted" error And nokia suite, nokia pc suite,... cant sync with my phone, it wont accept any software install from nokia suite ( "file corrupted" ). This really **bleep** me off Java do just fine, but what's the point of having a s60v3 that can only run java apps?

1. On the Device panel, click Overview.
2. Click Application installer.
3. Browse for the application file on your computer, and then click Open. The installation process starts on HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio.
4. Check the screen on HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio to see if there are additional instructions to complete the installation.
5. After installation is complete, you can click Disconnect.

Cant install and remove application from E71 and happens to switch off unexpectly on diffrent cases especially when browsing net. and the device is not functioning properly.device has become too slow and becomes hot.
