Apr 27, 2010The story is my C905 got splashed and some buttons on the keypad stopped working. I sent it to SE and they said they returned it unfixed because of the water damage and corrosion that spreads. However, when I put my SIM card back it, it now says "Insert Correct SIM" even though the SIM card works in my W810. They even replaced my keypad and every button works.After looking up my SIM lock info, everything says 0.Does anyone what happened and how to help?

Nov 16, 2010I just bought W205, couse my good old W880i died on me. In start there were some broblems, because it didn´t recognise any of music files from my 2G memory card. Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. That´s very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isn´t it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?

Sep 2, 2010i've added several mp3s to my w205 by using a usb cable and windows file explorer and although I can play them using the w205s file manager, no songs show up in the walkman music player. I have also tried sending songs to the phone by bluetooth and formatting the memory card (1GB M2) but this doesn't work either. Any ideas?

Oct 18, 2010Previously I had some other SE phones: K750, W300, W910. All of them had the Bluetooth Remote feature, with which I controlled Winamp on my PC. It was all fine. I like to change of phone, so now I got a W205, but I was very disappointed when I saw that there were no Bluetooth Remote .
So I have few questions:
- Why there isn't this feature, considering it is almost the same screen and software than my previous W300?
- Will I have this feature if I update my phone's software with the newest version?
- Is there any other solution available, such as a Java sofware maybe? I have heard of MobileWitch Bluetooth Remote Control, but I can't get it to work at all.
I really want to control my Winamp with my W205.

Sep 7, 2010Habe mir ein w205 angeschafft. Kann die Lautstärke beim Radioempfang nicht ändern. Wenn ich auf Lautstärke + drücke schaltet das handy auf den nächsten bei - auf den vorigen Sender. Habe sicherheitshalber die letzte software installiert. Jetzt geht die Lautstärkeregelung nach wie vor nicht und zusätzlich funktioniert die Suchfunktion nicht. Mit der OK-Taste wird nur jeweils um 0,1 MHz weitergeschaltet. Erwarte eine Stellungnahme der Sony-ericsson Techniker. Auch erfahrungen aller anderen Benutzer des w205 sind für mich sehr interessant.

Aug 20, 2010I've bought a SE c510 recently. Maybe a month ago. All was working fine until a couple of days ago, it started giving me error message. First, it will say Inactive Sim. Then, it will turn itself on, and give me this error message: "Insert Sim or View Demo Video first" It takes more than a couple of on/off remove battery cycles before it functions again. My Sim is definitely not inactive. Cause At times that I don't get this error, it works. I have also updated to the latest firmware as of 06/27/10. I still get the errors. Is there s aolution to this? I have been using SE Phones for a long time now and I don't usually have issues like this.

Sep 20, 2010Last night my phone started acting weird and asking if I wanted to copy contacts from the USIM any time I tried to look at my contacts. I ignored it most of the time, but earlier today I tried turning it off and on again to see if that would sort it. Now it literally won't do anything, apart from display a message saying "Insert correct USIM". I haven't done anything different with it that I can think of that would have caused this. I've already tried removing the battery, sim card and memory card but nothing seems to work. Any ideas whether it can be fixed, or what could have happened in the first place?
