My girlfriend owns a SE W205. Since a couple of weeks is it no more possible pictures - that were shot with the mobiles camera – use as background on the mobile. If she tries this a window appears that says: file is damaged. Pictures could be viewed on the mobile.
View 6 RepliesI just bought W205, couse my good old W880i died on me. In start there were some broblems, because it didn´t recognise any of music files from my 2G memory card. Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. That´s very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isn´t it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi've added several mp3s to my w205 by using a usb cable and windows file explorer and although I can play them using the w205s file manager, no songs show up in the walkman music player. I have also tried sending songs to the phone by bluetooth and formatting the memory card (1GB M2) but this doesn't work either. Any ideas?
View 1 Replies View RelatedPreviously I had some other SE phones: K750, W300, W910. All of them had the Bluetooth Remote feature, with which I controlled Winamp on my PC. It was all fine. I like to change of phone, so now I got a W205, but I was very disappointed when I saw that there were no Bluetooth Remote .
So I have few questions:
- Why there isn't this feature, considering it is almost the same screen and software than my previous W300?
- Will I have this feature if I update my phone's software with the newest version?
- Is there any other solution available, such as a Java sofware maybe? I have heard of MobileWitch Bluetooth Remote Control, but I can't get it to work at all.
I really want to control my Winamp with my W205.

Wenn ich auf Lautstärke + drücke schaltet das handy auf den nächsten bei - auf den vorigen Sender. Habe sicherheitshalber die letzte software installiert. Jetzt geht die Lautstärkeregelung nach wie vor nicht und zusätzlich funktioniert die Suchfunktion nicht. Mit der OK-Taste wird nur jeweils um 0,1 MHz weitergeschaltet. Erwarte eine Stellungnahme der Sony-ericsson Techniker. Auch erfahrungen aller anderen Benutzer des w205 sind für mich sehr interessant.

Is there any inexpensive way of servicing the phone, as it has become almost unusable is roughly 12-14 months old.
I damaged the LCD screen in my W995 last month.sent it away and got a new screen replaced.ever since, it will not show my movie clips or take new ones,it just skips frames every 5 secs or so.is this a new screen problem? or a phone problem?just to confuse matters it shows the clips and takes new ones for a little while after switching it off,then returns to silly mode again. been onto O2 and the screen replacers so hopefully someone will help?

1.open camera ( on back ) ==> am in camera mode
2.i press button for making pictures
3. i see grin spot in upper left corner
4. spot blinks few times ( i hold picture button )
5. i hear a sound, but then picture is not "frozen" on the screen? when i look in folder with pictures there is no picture What could be a problem ? Am i doing something wrong ? 1. When I trying to export photo in Picassa example to my PC desktop, its gives me an error: Unable to write all files due to Disk Error.
2. When I trying to rotate photo with Windows Photo Viewer, its says: there's problem with Picture File properties.
First I thought maybe is problem in Picasa or in Windows7, but with photos, taken half an year ago, everything is OK! I have checked twice all camera settings in Vivaz, didn't find nothing. Camera settings has been all the time the same: HD (16:9), Google Geo etc. Here is one photo with problems for downloading.
