I am using Sony Ericsson W700i but last week I met with an accident and my joystick and data cable slot is not in working condition so is there any way to get atleast my numbers back or how can I send it to other mobile.

The computer though shows the memory card of my phone as a drive. The earlier version of the PC suite which I tried to install on windows 7 was Sony Ericsson PC Suite 2.10.46 & while installing Windows was reporting an error failing to load resource....

Lastly, this Zylo of mine has one feature that drives me nuts. Despite me trying everything, unless I keep pressing keys, the screen goes blank after around 10 secs. It is an absolute pain when I am browsing or reading/sending texts or e-mails.
I have W700i having software version R1CA021. Whether any updated software version is available for my mobile? If yes, then what is the new feature in that updated version.

It's hard to tell from the videos and written reviews. I play a lot of games on my mobile and I like the feel of the joystick, so I was really hoping I could upgrade to another SE phone with joystick, but I guess they're falling out of favour (especially since many people had problems with the K800 joystick).
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm currently having a problem most of the time whenever I move the joystick downwards on my K800i phone, instead of scrolling down a menu, my phone thinks I've pressed select and pushed the joystick button. This is particularly irritating especially when I'm writing texts. Using the predictive text option and when I'm trying to scroll down in my address book to either call someone and my phone thinks I've pressed 'select' and calls somebody, I didn't want to call and sending somebody a text. In the meantime, I'm just moving the joystick upwards whenever I have to scroll through menus.
I've had my phone for about 2 1/2 years now and it was perfectly fine until now. I also have another minor problem which occurs rarely. Sometimes my phone is locked and when I get a text, The phone display stays dark and the phone doesn't function for me to unlock the phone. I have to open and shut the camera shutter for the display to light up the display and for the phone to function.
Its been a while and my phone died literally after it got into water! I managed to revive it but the joystick died because it was covered with water reactions around its hardware area! I wanted to throw it away but i discovered i could navigate using numbers when am using ucweb application and some! The issue is on trying to change themes,settings in internet! I was wondering if there is a short cut to internet settings and others or even a patch to navigate using volume and camera top buttons! So far i have only seen a patch to adjust brightness using volume up and down...any luck or should i just throw it away!

Is there any inexpensive way of servicing the phone, as it has become almost unusable is roughly 12-14 months old.
I damaged the LCD screen in my W995 last month.sent it away and got a new screen replaced.ever since, it will not show my movie clips or take new ones,it just skips frames every 5 secs or so.is this a new screen problem? or a phone problem?just to confuse matters it shows the clips and takes new ones for a little while after switching it off,then returns to silly mode again. been onto O2 and the screen replacers so hopefully someone will help?

While the phone is off, When i plug in the charger the "charging battery" indicator and the "Red light" on joystick appear, but within few milliseconds the display goes off (red light remains on) and the charging process restarts. This happens continuously until I unplug the charger. When the charger is plugged while the phone is turned on "Optimized charging" message appears but the "charging indicator" stays on current battery level.

Is it on the website so that we know what we're looking for? There appear to be so many variations of endings and I assume they each have a different name or size given to them. Which one is required?
