how do i view websites in full like i do on my pc and not as mobile websites. i am trying to view ebay site but i keep getting the mobile version. i have even tried to type in the full ebay site address [URL] in the address bar but it still defaults to the mobile version site. same with facebook.

Some of these sites I can view using Opera mini, but others return mobile specific versions.I'm aware there is some kind of script that the smartphone browers ( iphone included ) use to request mobile versions. Is there any workaround or another browser that can overcome this ?

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy brother has an S2 with out-of-the-box, custom ROM, not ever flashed or rooted, etc. He has just been told he has to work in Spain for the forseeable futre but wants to come home at weekends. He also wants to keep his S2.
If he roots and flashes his phone, will he be able to buy a Spanish SIM from any Spanish network for use in Spain, and just replace it with his own SIM when he comes back here? In other words, does a root and flash of a phone make it fully internationally unlocked so that he doesn't get any extra charges from either Spanish or UK networks?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5/ Android 5.0/knox v 2.3
While adjusting my settings in Knox I switched to folder view, which has completely changed the knox environment. The main thing I now find is I can no longer toggle in and out of the knox container using the notifications area that you swipe down from the top of the screen, unless there is a specific notification, ie a new email.
The option within the Knox settings that I used to switch to folder view is no longer visible - the settings seem to have changed ( and more to the point, I can't remember the exact option) so I can't switch back.
Is there any easy fix to either add a toggle into the notifications area to enter/leave the knox container, or preferably to switch back from the folder view organisational structure to the standard environment that I assume is there by default?

How do I get to see all the names?I can press and hold on the message to bring up a window that shows some of the names, but not all. I think I must have dozed off watching something the other evening, leaving my finger on the screen, and now the "video ratio" icon that should be on the bar with the play, rwd and ffwd icons is no longer there!
Whatever I try, I cannot get the icon back or reset the video to maximise itself on screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWM 6.1 upgrade went without problem, but now I have issue with Wi-Fi access.PIE is unable to open any websites if the phone connects to any secured wireless network.(WEP, WPA, WPA2)Only time the wi-fi would work is when I connect to non-secured network.When I was on WM 6.0, I had no issues what so ever, so this is a new problem and I know I setup the network correctly. (Router issues IP address and network card receives IP address.)Looks like it happened to couple of others as well, but there does not look to be any remedy for it.
Of course about 90% of the time I will be connecting to non-secured network, so it should not be a too large an issue, but if possible, I would like to fix this.According to the search, only remedy I have seen is a guy contacting Samsung and getting WM 6.0 re-flashed on the phone. Other than 6.0 reflash, could there be any other potential resolution that I have overlooked?

When searching something within the Google App, there is no issues with the search itself, however when I click on a link to certain websites (Wikipedia is the biggest one I have noticed), I get the message "No App Found to Open URL". I have reset app preferences and tried this in safe mode with the same results. I have tried several browsers as the default with no difference.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk, so when I am in the compose message view I start typing a name to send a message to and the phone shows me all numbers for that contact, even if I deleted that number... for example say my contact Lewis upgrades and gets a new number, I edit his contact, deleting the old number and replacing it with the new. Then when I type LEW into the compose message "to" section it shows all numbers ever stored under that name, if you know what I mean..? So i am typing someones name getting multiple numbers even if they only have 1 number to there name.This also seems to be the case if someone registers a number to FB and I overwrite that number with a new number

What I mean is I never automatically see the pictures or the email that it would normally show as in a regular email. Is it supposed to do this? A "shrunk" down email on bb? I always thought it can render everything in the email but each time I open my email (gamestop, HP deals for example) it never loads fully.I know theres apps that can help but is that the only solution?
