i love my new galaxy s2 but i want one more thing... i want to be able to play a full blueray movie on it and output it to my projector in full 1080p.I know there is a file limitation of 4 gb for android. is there a Rom or a work around to format my removable sdcard to a different file system so i can play the movies?

1 - the ability to select "shuffle" for random music play; and2 - nusic settings (e.g. bass) are not retained, and have to be re-selected each time I start the music player again.Is this just me not knowing where to look, or are those functions really not available on the SII?
Searching the internet and some say that it is a format issue and I should buy a converter, it is not a format issue since the same file will play on the network drive but not on the S5 network card.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI notice a new type of storage is introduced called USB Storage. I expect this is the equivalent of the internal SD card of the old SGS. Now when I click on the "Move to SD" button on any of the apps, I get the message "Failed to move application: Not enough memory"
My USB storage currently has 11.42GB. So can onyone shed light as to where I am going wrong here?

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy brother has an S2 with out-of-the-box, custom ROM, not ever flashed or rooted, etc. He has just been told he has to work in Spain for the forseeable futre but wants to come home at weekends. He also wants to keep his S2.
If he roots and flashes his phone, will he be able to buy a Spanish SIM from any Spanish network for use in Spain, and just replace it with his own SIM when he comes back here? In other words, does a root and flash of a phone make it fully internationally unlocked so that he doesn't get any extra charges from either Spanish or UK networks?

I think I must have dozed off watching something the other evening, leaving my finger on the screen, and now the "video ratio" icon that should be on the bar with the play, rwd and ffwd icons is no longer there!
Whatever I try, I cannot get the icon back or reset the video to maximise itself on screen.
So I downloaded a movie from the Google Play Store and I get sound but no video. Not sure if I need a flash player but I've tried to get one and basically no go...

I can't do it from the xoom stock browser, OR the Dolphin HD browser as well. I get no streaming, and on some sites I get a 'blue lego' character that tells me I'm missing a plug in.
Then there are other sites that work i.e. NOAA weather loop works. [URL]
I've noticed since the upgrade to ICS the battery full tone has stopped working. BTW only had the phone a week and the upgrade arrived a day ago. I've also noticed that the stock home switcher is now missing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedVideo files recorded on my sgs2 have the file extension mp4 but wont play on my sony bravia tv or via my sumvision cyclone mkv2 media player. They do however play on my windows 7 laptop.wehen playing a video on the sgs2 you can get more info by tapping menu/details. This tells me the format is 3gpp. I believe 3gpp forms a simple wrapper around the mp4 file and suspect this is the element my other devices can't handle.If I copy the files to my laptop and convert them to mp4 using [RZ Video Converter] program then copy them back to my sgs2... They now play fine on all my devices including the sgs2.
