As a former 3GS user, I am missing what appear to be 2 functions unavailable on the SII:
1 - the ability to select "shuffle" for random music play; and2 - nusic settings (e.g. bass) are not retained, and have to be re-selected each time I start the music player again.Is this just me not knowing where to look, or are those functions really not available on the SII?
Like I wrote when i open music player, and choose shuffle play it keeps to play random music.
But when i play music in mini music player (xpress buttons) shuffle works.
I dont have my C510 user guide and cant figure this out on my own. According to the web, my C510 should have a shuffle/random feature on the music player, but I dont know how to turn it on.

Is it possible to shuffle play all the songs in the music player in my Nokia 5800. I know I can do it when playing each individual album but can I do it for the whole library?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone for reasons best known to itself infrequently if not rarely reboots and then plays a loud piece of music (not one I have downloaded!) and I cannot seem to mute it or turn it off until its run it's 30 second course. This may not sound a long time but it is when you are in a meeting of quiet place and other than removing the battery, which would defeat the whole point I cannot find out how to a) silence it, b) turn it off for future reboots or c) why my phone feels the need to restart on a regular basis.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an LG G4 with a 128GB microSD. I prefer to store all my music locally, and have about 100 gb of albums on the microSD. If I open Google Play Music and select "downloaded only," I can see and play all albums and songs stored locally. However, all my playlists, which show and play fine when streaming, disappear. Instead, my 30+ playlists (same as on iTunes) are replaced by 3-5 odd, random playlists that I never consciously created.
Since my playlists all reference music that is locally stored, why wouldn't they work the same for "downloaded only" as they do when streaming? I'm going to be moving to a place with horrible and expensive internet, so I need to figure out how to use pre-created playlists for locally stored music.
I have only had my Iphone for about 6 months now. It does some things very well.. others not so much. Here is one that I just cant figure out.
I have 80 or so songs in my Gym playlist, from about 70 different artists. (so maybe 3 blue rodeo, 2 Led Zep, 3 VanH etc etc)
When i go into the playlist and hit shuffle it starts playing and seems random but very often will play 2 blue rodeo tunes in a row.
When I say often, I listen to this playlist twice a week at the gym and it happens every time usually in less than an hour.
It is "shuffle" but my phone thinks it knows what I want better than I do? I DONT want to listen to two zep songs in a row.
I have checked the order on my playlist and it seems random enough to me..

I bought my Galaxy S5 a month ago, and at first I paired my phone in my car and was able to use the hands-free and play music. Last evening while a song was playing the phone lost the bluetooth connection with the car.
I tried several times to re-connect, but not able to establish the connection back.
I tried to delete all previous listed phones/names, but that has not worked either.
when i play a album from my iphone, it will only shuffle the songs and will not play them in order. how do i stop the shuffle?

I only received my Galaxy S2 today so am very new to this, I want to have my own ringtone instead of the ones already set up on phone, on previous phones I've just been able to assign any of my music to ring tone but I cannot seem to that with this
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to access my videos or music as a message is displayed saying 'not enough memory'. My internal storage says I have used 739MB and have 1.2GB free. My external 8GB micro sd card shows I have 5.6GB available. However, my usb storage says I've used 12GB and have no free space. I guess the usb storage is the problem (unless there is something else) and I would like to know how I came to fill up the usb storage when I thought I was saving things to my external 8GB sd card.how to rectify the problem and also how to manage it in the future?

It reboots at random (has done so at least twice today just sitting on my desk doing nothing!) and I also have issues when plugged in via usb (loses connection whilst copying music over, can't expand storage, etc). Just wondering if anybody else has had similar issues with O2 Firmware, or if that's just a coincidence and I actually have a faulty handset??

It's gotta come from the web browser I would think, but why would files save automatically, without me ever noticing anything? View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having problem with my Samsung Galaxy S II (GT- I9100). The increase volume button is not working properly. Furthermore, when open any random software i.e games, the volume/sound will be set maximum automatically and can't turn down even pressing the decrease volume button. Even if i set the volume to silent first before run a game, the volume will automatically set to maximum after i run the game. If i want to increase volume i had to increase it at setting menu. This also effect when i want to zoom in to take a pic.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI always use the onboard Music player and I always have the Shuffle feature ON.Before the Anna update, I could press "Back" pick a song in the list and continue listening in shuffle mode.
After Anna update, every time I press back and pick a song shuffle gets disabled. I really don't like that and the fact that it does something I didn't ask it to do. I just picked a song, I didn't pick "disable shuffle as well".
Seems to be stuck on shuffle mode.how to play straight through

Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?
