Is there anyway of stopping my phone from only displaying web pages in mobile format,With my old HTC there was a setting to switch between mobile and standard page format, I tried putting "about:debug" into the browser which gave me some more advanced options in the settings menu and selected normal rendering bade made no difference, Could it be an APN settings issue ?

Ive got a Motorola Atrix on T-Mobile UK. When using webtop and the firefox browser I sometimes get directed to the mobile site rather than the full web site of certain pages like Facebook and Twitter. I'm guessing this is not supposed to happen. Is there a way to change the User Agent so it loads up full webpages?

I think the phone is set up to automatically select the best network. Normally this will be my WLAN,but I suppose,if I am in an area of the house with poor WLAN coverage,the mobile network is automatically selected?

I've noticed the web pages blink black for a second after loading.At first i thought it was just with bookmarked pages, but I've now noticed it's with all pages. i even tried a hard reset (holding down the volume buttons).i started a previous thread on this topic, but wanted to start another as it indeed seems to be another bug with my bionic.

I haven't been able to locate any uastring settings in browser settings or system configuration.
uastring still works, but has to be reapplied if the browser is closed, same as 3.0.1. A post elsewhere had indicated that the settings would persist until reboot.
Home page and view got changed on my Galaxy S5. I have tried changing between desktop and mobile view. Got an update from Att. Did this have anything to do with it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Verizon Galaxy S6 is auto turning itself on and auto connecting to wifi networks. I have all options in the advance settings for wifi turned off and it still auto connects.
Very frustrating as drains battery.
I do not want to have it forget networks, as then have to key in long security key each time.
I downloaded SwiftKey-X...and every time I reboot the phone..the dock first loads some of my apps..usually the last downloaded apps.Example..i switch the phone on, and where my contact/messaging/phone icons are..are now, FireFox, and 2 or others.This eventually fixes itself after about 15 seconds.If i remove SwiftKey, then this doesn't occur at all.

The problem I have however is not with the game itself but with the images it has put on my phone to run itself, they seem to have 'inbedded'into the system on my phone so when for example I go into my camera I have a Haypi symbol on the bar at the top and then when I close it and its between closing an app and going to the main screen or vice versa the Haypi Kingdom shield and sword and severaL motifs appear briefly.I have tried removing the game to get rid of this but it still happens even when its not installed now, its like as if its installed a Haypi Kingdom theme to my phone! I like the game but not so much that I want to see it all over my phone!

While adjusting my settings in Knox I switched to folder view, which has completely changed the knox environment. The main thing I now find is I can no longer toggle in and out of the knox container using the notifications area that you swipe down from the top of the screen, unless there is a specific notification, ie a new email.
The option within the Knox settings that I used to switch to folder view is no longer visible - the settings seem to have changed ( and more to the point, I can't remember the exact option) so I can't switch back.
Is there any easy fix to either add a toggle into the notifications area to enter/leave the knox container, or preferably to switch back from the folder view organisational structure to the standard environment that I assume is there by default?

How do I get to see all the names?I can press and hold on the message to bring up a window that shows some of the names, but not all. I can press on the message to go into the message and that, again, only shows some of the names.even on landscape it wont show all.Under options there is nothing to show who you sent the message to.Under view message details, nothing again. View 2 Replies View RelatedIMEI can be seen,everything is fine, when plugged in my orange sim card it just said "mobile network not available". The signal strength is fine and can be seen. I tried an O2 sim card, a talktalk (vodafone) sim card and they both worked fine. both of my 2 orange sim cards didn't work on this phone, but they worked fine on my other 2 phones. latest update, just flashed orange stock rom KJ4, got the same problem.tried manually connect to orange, got notice that "unable to connect, try later".
some more detail:every time when I flashed a new rom, always a notice saying "can't access to "/system/csc/ORA/system/". Tried *#272*imei#, there was no optional CSC available.
I have tried reinstalling the frimware and all that did was lose my apps. Tried doing a different firmware and tried rooting all the same results. The phone is definitely unlocked and unblocked as while I was searching google I came across one of those secret codes to show the status of the locks and all 4 of the categories were unlocked. I have tried a batterry pull and tried cleaning the Sim card. Also just in case this helps when I g into Settings>Call>Additional Settings it says 'Network Or Sim card error'. However the Sim card is perfectly fine.
