I bought a new Galaxy S2(GT-I9100G) last week. Currently I'm unable to connect to webpages using my default/3rd party browsers using normal data connection. I can load it when I'm using a WiFi network.

I have a problem with my GS2.Wi-Fi on and shows as on, but when going onto GooglePlay Apps/internet/Facebook/Twitter etc etc comes up with no connection. (laptop works fine at the same time so I know its not router problem).If I goto settings and take wi-fi off then put back on it works fine, emails come thru.
It seems lik eI have to keep doing this during the day constantly, anyone else had the problems?(Wi-Fi sleep policy under advanced in wi-fi setting is set to never so thats ok)
I have recently got a new Galaxy S2 on Vodafone and when I try and connect it to the Kies application, I keep getting the error message;
Reconnect the devise in Samsung Kies (PC Studio) Mode.Current connection mode is not supported by Kies.
I recently updated to Software version G900PV-83BOK4 on my Galaxy S5. Ever since the update, I cannot access Facebook unless on wireless connections. All other Apps work fine. When accessing Facebook I receive a message that says, 'Can't connect right now.'
I've tried various things and can't seem to correct. There is a similar thread on Facebook for all Android devices, but no one seems to have a solution.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Recently the keyboard keeps defaulting back to the Samsung keyboard, rather than the Google keyboard which is my preferred option. I've reset the default in Settings repeatedly.

Recently was having connection problems so decided to delete the account and restart.
This time when I try to set things up I get the following error: "Setup could not finish. Unable to connect to server".
Can I assume that my work has changed something, so I can't use the webmail server to connect to exchange?
My BB won't connect to webages. I try typing in address and try using google, neither one works. At the top is says, for example, www.mfacebook.com t starts to search it and load it but once the bar is full it does nothing and the screen is blank. I checked out connections and there is a green checkmark to the left of WiFi but then in the box it just has a white line. Is there something wrong with the phone? I took out the battery and it still doesn't work. how do I make sure everything on my phone is updated? Everytime I ever plug it in to the PC, it ALWAYS says "there are no updates" which seems odd? It's a Curve 8530 andI have had it for a year and a half.

I didnt realise that the choice also applied to phone calls. No problem I thought, just unmark it as default. But that doesnt seem to be an option, i.e. having set a default, the only choice seems to be to change it to another number not actually cancel altogether.The only way round it i could find is to add a new dummy number, mark that as the default then delete the number. Am I missing the obvious?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an Sii gt-i9100g running ICS 4.03 (non-rooted). Recently I've been getting an error when applications try to update: "Application cannot be installed in the default install location".
So I checked my phone storage.
phone memory: 1.97Gb
Applications: 647mb
Free: 247mb
USB storage has about 10.5Gb available.
I uninstalled a few applications I didn't need on a regular basis and then the phone was able to update the installed applications successfully. I went in to application management and there's no option to move the installed applications to USB storage (I don't have an external SD card). So this raises a few concerns:
1: How come there's a mystery 1.1 gigabytes that isn't accounted for in the phone storage? I thought all of Android ICS was stored in that missing 4GB of USB storage memory...
2: If the phone doesn't allow further installations to phone memory when there's only about 200mb available, and if the phone has reserved 1.1 gigabytes for some hidden purpose, then is it true that without buying an SD card, we only really have about 700MB available for applications?!
3: Why isn't the option to move applications to USB storage available under ICS? I believe this was available in Gingerbread.
I'm new to the SII, but if its the case that this supposedly 16GB device only truly has 700MB available for apps without an External SD card, then I'm gonna be pretty angry.
Every time I try to download an app the phone says not enough storage available, but all the storage in the sd card is available. I need to make he ad card the main storage...
