I'm using Nokie E72. It's native e-mail client (v.3.21) is pretty nice. The hotkeys are really handy.One things I can't find is how to switch the e-mail into full-screen view (to hide the top bar with the signal and battery level + to hide the bottom status bar with func keys names).
View 3 RepliesI own E5-00, after i updated its device software to 101.003, the mail client always shows 'fetching content' when opening e-mail for reading new email. For your kind attention before device software, the device was not showing it. I have to press "Z" Key Always for Synchronize or end or Receive now. Earlier it was not like this.

Apart from some small bugs, like if inbox is empty you can't get to your sent folder, I can send and receive emails properly. However, I can't find a normal pop3 setting Leave mail on server. Which means it will download all new messages from the server, and nothing else.Now it more or less behaves like a mapi client and syncs against the server and removes all messages from the inbox that I have deleted from the server. But I want to have the messages on the phone until I delete them.Any email program out there that I can use on the Nokia E7 that can be used as a normal pop3 client? Apart from this email problem I would say that Nokia E7 is the best phone I have had so far. If I only could get the Nokia E7 hardware and use N900 software it would be perfect

I normally just find the "full resync" option that deletes the content and then resyncs. This generally fixes any glitch. I did a software update last week and I have spent about 3 hours trying to find it. My software version is 211.12.01 date 31-03-01 custom version 211.12.01.204.04 date 26-08-10 I got this from *#0000#Can anyone tell me the how to access the full resync and if as I have heard rumoured it is no longer available how do you now achieve a resync?

Ok, I went to OviStore and what a bad news that there is no any podcast client there! So do somebody know podcast client for e72? If this forum reads Nokia team - why did you erase it from E72? It also S60 and diffreneces between E63 and E72 are only in feature packs!
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe SIP client at my Nokia E6 with Belle can not login to the VoIP account. I receive error message - Incomplete settings please contact your service provider. With the same set of parameters my previous Nokia phones E75 and E61i worked fine with the same service provider. I have contacted help desk of my VoIP service provider and they told me me they have received huge number of similar notifications related to Anna and Belle. Moreover they told me that this issue has been reported to Nokia and they hoped the problem will be solved soon but so far it has not been solved. The VoIP provider I use is IPFON in Poland.
Has somebody faced similar problem with the same or other VoIP provider? Or any specific parameter differences between older generation of phones and Anna/Belle that should be taken into consideration while setting up the VoIP in E6.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone got problem with emails not being updated correctly?Have 3 POP3 accounts in my E6 and tested sync "soonest" and "15min" and never updates it for new emails, not even when i hit "z" it seems to sync correctly.Even sometimes it does, the overview screen/Home screen is stuck with preview from old emails.Hate this because if the email does not work properly it is completely useless for me. This works perfect on my E71 and E72.

1. Does the mail client allow you to create an icon for a specific email account on the main screen? I'm looking for something similar to my Blackberry where I have icons for each of the email accounts that the phone is monitoring. I don't care for the iphone where you have to click through the email client to bring up a different email account.
2.How is the media player?I hope to replace my ipod touch with the N1.I mostly listen to long MP3s of radio shows and have to frequently use my finger to FFW 10 or so minutes within a file that is 6 hours long. I finally got used to doing this on the touch, and I am hoping that the interface on the N1 would also allow such fine skipping within such a large file.
3.Is it any good for playing movies?
4.Does the email client let you specify an email check period? The smallest period on the iphone is 15 minutes, but I would like to enter a smaller value to help ease the transition from Blackberry push email if I were to make the switch to the N1.

How can I determine which application or data is using storage memory? There are no movies, music or other "big" files copied to the phone (as far as I know). The only thing I know is "maps". From my experience with E90 and E71 all available maps need about 8GB space, this should fit to a E7 with 16GB

I was in the process of setting it up and had just defined three mailboxes (Exchange, GMail and IMAP) and installed Skype. It turned out that I had to exit Skype before I could connect USB.
So what is a multitasking OS worth if it cannot cope with one extra application, or should I blame the programmers of Skype?
since 2 weeks ago, i can'y access anything on my phone cuz of the full memory message blinking to me!and here is my phone memory details:memory in use: 254 mbfree memory: 5.1 mbcalendar: 13 kbcontacts: 38 kbmessages: 10 mb (deleted all attachments by the way)images: 0 bsound files: 0bvideo clips: 0 bdocuments: 32 kbmidp apps: 1 mbsis apps: 16 mbother files: 226 mb (**bleep**?!!!)with file manager on mobile and also the pc suite i browsed the phone memory c and all i find is a lone folder called "data" with size of 52 kb (after i cleared all possibe unnecessary files), i also cleared the internet cache/cookies and every thing several times....but the message still appearsi have made a soft reset several times also which freed about 16 mb only enough to survive the phone, but later the memory is full again!i have deleted unnecessary apps like facebook, Internet, myspace, hi5, friendster, etc, but the memory is full back again!
