View 9 RepliesI can't get the default email client to behave like a pop3 client. Apart from some small bugs, like if inbox is empty you can't get to your sent folder, I can send and receive emails properly. However, I can't find a normal pop3 setting Leave mail on server. Which means it will download all new messages from the server, and nothing else.Now it more or less behaves like a mapi client and syncs against the server and removes all messages from the inbox that I have deleted from the server. But I want to have the messages on the phone until I delete them.Any email program out there that I can use on the Nokia E7 that can be used as a normal pop3 client? Apart from this email problem I would say that Nokia E7 is the best phone I have had so far. If I only could get the Nokia E7 hardware and use N900 software it would be perfect
View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone got problem with emails not being updated correctly?Have 3 POP3 accounts in my E6 and tested sync "soonest" and "15min" and never updates it for new emails, not even when i hit "z" it seems to sync correctly.Even sometimes it does, the overview screen/Home screen is stuck with preview from old emails.Hate this because if the email does not work properly it is completely useless for me. This works perfect on my E71 and E72.

Ok, I went to OviStore and what a bad news that there is no any podcast client there! So do somebody know podcast client for e72? If this forum reads Nokia team - why did you erase it from E72? It also S60 and diffreneces between E63 and E72 are only in feature packs!
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe SIP client at my Nokia E6 with Belle can not login to the VoIP account. I receive error message - Incomplete settings please contact your service provider. With the same set of parameters my previous Nokia phones E75 and E61i worked fine with the same service provider. I have contacted help desk of my VoIP service provider and they told me me they have received huge number of similar notifications related to Anna and Belle. Moreover they told me that this issue has been reported to Nokia and they hoped the problem will be solved soon but so far it has not been solved. The VoIP provider I use is IPFON in Poland.
Has somebody faced similar problem with the same or other VoIP provider? Or any specific parameter differences between older generation of phones and Anna/Belle that should be taken into consideration while setting up the VoIP in E6.

I had one when the phone released 2 years back in 2009 and got it in the Metal Grey but sold it for an Htc Inspire.Back on topic, I had no problems with the E72's email client back then on my old device but noticed a difference in my recent E72. I have a Yahoo email account set up on my device. Syncing is great, but the problem is that i'm unable to view my created folders for sorting of mailI have no problems viewing this on my Htc Inspire, but I want to be able to see them on my E72.

For your kind attention before device software, the device was not showing it. I have to press "Z" Key Always for Synchronize or end or Receive now. Earlier it was not like this.

I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I would like to know if there is any way to disable 3g on this phone? I don't have a data plan and i would like to avoid overages.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI sent my less-then week old E6 in for repair becuase of the restart-problem. I called them on monday, and was told I'd get a call from a cust service rep. I called again today (Thrusday), and was told someone would call w/in 48 hours. Remarkably, I actually received a call.
They could not fix the E6 They offered a new, not-refurb'd N8, and not an E6 as a replacement, citing the N8 as an "upgrade".
Figure that one out.Worst_Service_EVER I do not want the N8, as it has no qwerty keyboard, but that was the only option given. She gave me 2 days to call her back after thinking about it.
Iv been using this phone for like 2 years and its working allright but since today i tried installing NetQin mobile guard on my phone but my phone got stuck and rebooted itself,after that it kept on turning on and rebooting itself.
i tried every method,hard reset,soft reset,taking out the sim card and memory then turning it on but no use! somthing must have gone wrong with the firmware but i cannot reinstall it because when ever i connect my phone with my pc and nokia pc suite,the phone doesnt stop rebooting so everytime the connection also fails.i dont understand that what should i do with my phone,i cannot find any solution to it.
This firmware have fixed very bugs. But one bug added with its new feature: when you have a new SMS or missed call, it appears the name and number of caller. But in right to left languages such as Arabic and Persian, it appears the name from left to right and is not readable.
