Hold your GS2 in your hand as you would normally and could you tap it with your finger on the top, near the 3.5mm jack slot. When you tap it does it sound like there is something loose to you?I had my replacement phone today and it seems like there is something lose, even when I tap the top half of the screen it feels like their is something loose or rattling around inside the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn some (but not all) apps it just seems to be there towards the bottom of the screen. If you press it you can drag it to other areas of the screen. It seems like it's a floating menu button. Is there some setting that turns this on and off?
View 24 Replies View RelatedEvery now and then, almost as if my phone chooses when it wants to mess with me, I'll open a conversation in the messaging app (the standard app on the phone). I can see in the main conversation window that there was a picture sent and I can see the picture. When I tap on the picture to enlarge it to full screen, it doesn't open. Instead it just shows a black screen with the thumbnails from previous sent pictures along the bottom.
To give a real example: My brother just had a baby and my mom has been sending pictures like crazy. When I open a picture from the messaging app, the screen is black but the previous pictures that were send can be opened via the thumbnail selection across the bottom of the screen.
If I close out of the app and reopen the app, I can usually see the picture I was having trouble with, but the next one will do the same thing. Sometimes I'll be looking at a picture someone sent and it will go black while the picture is already open.
It's as if something running in the background is interrupting the process and even shutting the process down in some cases. Even pictures that I've seen before, for instance, my mom sent baby pictures of my brother a few weeks earlier, won't open even after I've already seen them through the messaging app.
As you can imagine, it's terrible. Especially when I want to show my wife a picture someone sends me, I have to jump through 5 minutes worth of hoops to get it to open and in some cases I can't even get it to open!
What I want is to be able to receive a picture via the messaging app and tap on it to enlarge with NO issues. This really doesn't seem like too much to ask for.
My galaxy s6 was working fine until a few days ago. I charge it to 100% but it will randomly die and lose all power.

When I go into my "Storage" settings, I have the option to clear my cache with one click. I'd like to use this function to clear off my cached browsing, imgur, etc., but my concern is my games.
1) If I clear the cache, will I lose my saved game data?
2) Will I lose any settings for any apps?

On the canadian site which i have all my other samsung products registered, there is no listing for my model number (GT-I9250TSDTLS (this is whats on the box, phone menu just lists my model as Samsung Galaxy Nexus, though the label under that battery shows GT-I9250M as the model number..how am I supposed to register my phone?[URL]..shows that galaxy owners can get a free copy of angry birds space... how do I get that?
Word on the street is that there may be a refreshed Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming. I wasrReading over at Android and Me and this thread caught my attention:The rumors state that there is going to be a refreshed camera. Possibly along the way of 8.0MP. On top of that, the processors are scheduled to be refreshed using The faster SGX544 GPU is included with Texas Instruments upcoming OMAP4470 processor. This is the successor to the original OMAP4460 found in the Galaxy Nexus, that includes the older SGX540 GPU.With the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus coming soon we'll have to wait and see if they are in fact getting a refreshed model or the LTE based model that Verizon has currently, Either way, I hope they do launch a refresh on the HSPA+ line as well. I use the Galaxy Nexus and while I love the phone, I wish the camera was better. Faster is always better as well so I'll take the processor bump.

I was wondering if someone who bought the phone from telus sells me this phone, would I be able to enjoy the 1 year manufacturer warranty? I just purchase my sg2 phone yesterday. Unfortunately, my brother has used my phone last night and register the Samsung account in it by using his email or id. When I tried to change the account, it cannot be done cause I have to do the factory reset in privacy setting (which will erase all my personal info and downloaded applications). I don't want that to happen as well. Plus, my my brother can't even remember what the password he has used for the Samsung account I'm very pissed off now that my Samsung account belong to him and the fact that I can't do the factory reset because of him. I'll mention again, he forgot the password he used for MY SAMSUNG ACCOUNT IN MY SG2.

not much difference in the galaxy family that i can imagine (although i haven't dug around to know exactly) but besides the fact that there is no where to place the stylus on the S2, will the stylus or "S - Pen" as i've read it called work with the phones? or is there something more technical involved that will not allow this to work? and if it does work, where do you buy one (or two or three as replacements) ;-)

When I delete this from the status bar, it appears again in seconds, even when I'm on wifi or 3g, and using facebook. I have an IPhone 4. I do not get signal at all when I'm inside some specific location. fx, inside a supermarket, even in my work-place but not in my apartment. I generally get no-signal in a location which has wall on 3 sides. I suspect that my iphone is not capturing signal well. I do get signal in other places but not inside those places. I'm having this problem since Apri. I bought my IPhone in June 2011. I get 'searching' or 'no service' message. I returned my phone to my carrier for the repair, however, they examined my phone and told me there is no problem. They possibly could not understand the actual problem of my phone.I suppose my phone has only 1 year of warranty and if so, then it expired on June 1. what should I do now?
